Poor customer service, double booked and waited till last minute to let me know. Cudos to everyone who gave this business a 5 star stellar review. Too bad I can't reciprocate that. I called on July 24th to schedule a cleaning for July 28 for a morning time frame, with a technician coming out between the hours of 8-12. I specifically chose this time slot as my bf works a 16 hour shift and sleeps in the afternoon when he gets back. Everything was removed and stored away including my work desk and monitor the night before. Working from home is great but my job requires dual monitors. Using just my laptop is difficult but I made do this morning. But now having to wait till noon - 4 to see if someone even shows up is frustrating. You might ask why I can't set up the desk myself, well it's freaken heavy and requires 2 people. Anyhoo, I got a call from Andy that they mistakenly double booked for the morning time slot. Really, so it took you the day of to realize this? And you open at 8am but said you just found out at 9:19 a.m. If this is how Five Star Clean operates, no communication with a schedule of a mess. Instead of having a calm and transparent conversation, the tone quickly became defensive and elevated. I even had to pause conversations more than once to ask her not to yell and to remind her that I was not calling to argue -- I simply had questions. For context, I have been in customer service for 20 years. I would never speak to a client the way I was spoken to. Professional communication matters, especially when you own a business. Even after those uncomfortable conversations, I chose to extend grace and give the company another opportunity. The final straw was the day of a scheduled appointment. My husband and I were waiting to leave our home until the cleaners arrived. When she was late, I called to ask for an ETA, only to be told there had been call-outs and no one would be coming. While I understand emergencies happen, there was no proactive communication, and the interaction again felt dismissive. At that point, I decided I would no longer continue services. I am giving two stars strictly because the staff who cleaned our home were wonderful and deserving of recognition. However, professionalism and respectful communication from ownership are equally important.     TL;DR: very little work done in several days, expensive items "thrown out" even though we…read moreexplicitly mentioned to not touch the area, gaslit for asking for reimbursement for missing items. shady business. here's the long version. i never write detailed reviews but this one i hope will save someone else the stress and headache from dealing with this company in the future. we have text receipts of all issues addressed in this story so as much as he'd like to deny or twist the facts here, we can always provide proof of communication. we hired ECO via daniel several months ago to help deep clean our condo. the condo was vacant and all furniture was gone except a tv, tv stand and some small misc items. daniel came to do a review and provide a quote for the job, seemed like a nice guy and we had a good initial impression, so we agreed and paid the deposit for the work. to summarize the issues we experienced once he started the work: - initial estimate was 2 days of work, property owner stopped by to check after day 2 and virtually no work was done - daniel asked for another day to do the work himself, we obliged - discovered on walkthrough that expensive items in fridge that we explicitly told them not to clean out were "thrown out" but all other items that should have been tossed were still present in condo (sure buddy...) - worker/middle aged son was seen riding mountain bike around the complex leaving garage wide open with some items we had begun to move and a collector car on display... - another worker walked in front door after just smoking a cigarette causing condo to smell for several days after, showing lack of respect for our property - we requested reimbursement for items "thrown out" but got gaslit for several months after with no reimbursement and being called "mean" for asking for reimbursement and being blamed for the whole ordeal this was the most unnecessary stress my girlfriend and i ever needed and we honestly wish we could settle this in court, but we did not have wifi at our condo at the time so no camera footage of what happened in our unit. lawyer advised me to take the loss as we don't have solid evidence of wrong doing, but hopefully this review will help save someone the headache daniel has caused us. please do your research - we discovered a bad review on the BBB stating he doesn't pay his contractors, and he hires third parties to clean your residence instead of doing the work himself as we discovered through this process. beware. **updated and added some photos i could quickly find in camera roll. i'll just keep looking through my camera roll for more

Daniel was super prompt in replying all my questions and concerns and was always courteous and replied quickly. Because of that and the reasonable price, we went with him. Two cleaners showed up first (Carolyne and Venus) and they cleaned every room that had carpet first. Then Dan came and made the carpet spotless. I am pretty sure that the house cleaning and carpet cleaning took longer than everyone expected but they all did a great job. Although some blinds, some windows and a shower door were missed, I was really impressed with how thorough the ladies were on the areas they did clean. The best job was done on the kitchen - that area I have no complaints about
