That cabinet alone is worth $5k, not to mention the cracks, chips, and scratches on the other furniture. Do not use this Franchise.... I guess it was cheaper to lose business I reviewed appropriately Owner used this app to insult me personally and further accuse me of racism I then checked with the state. He has no interstate license and his insurance is pending dismissal. All one has to do is look up the name on the DOT and NCUC web sites. Bad business beware !!

I am six months pregnant (25 weeks at the time) and alone because my husband moved to PA for a job. I was left with 70% of the house to pack and of course needed help. We agreed to get a U-Haul and hire movers to put the stuff in the truck, then my husband would fly back down to NC to drive the truck. After doing searching reviews on both google and yelp, I contacted a few different companies for a quote. Box & Dolly/Mr. Gibbs reached out to me via phone to communicate his services and rate. He was personable but also very transparent and straight forward about his fee which was 1 flat hourly rate. The day of move, Mr. Gibbs and two other men got there 15 mins early and I was able to show them what needed to stay/go. They laid down a runners throughout the house (to not damage the floor) and got to work. He quickly realized there was something wrong with the U-Haul when he started it to move it. I called U-Haul and got the most wasteful runaround for about 30 mins. Mr. Gibbs picked up the phone and called the U-Haul on Bragg Blvd and was able to get an emergency switch within 2 minutes. Again, I was alone, so Mr. Gibbs offered to give me a ride to the U-Haul. The truck BEARLY went over 30 mph and sounded like it was on the brink of exploding. Mr. Gibbs drove the truck to the Bragg Blvd location and even negotiated an upgrade (larger truck) on my behalf for the inconvenience. At the end, he did not charge me for the almost hour and a half it took to switch the truck out. There's no doubt in my mind that if I hired another moving company, they would have loaded the faulty truck and it would have been our problem after that. There was absolutely no way the first truck was going to make it out of my driveway once it was loaded. To say I highly recommend this company is an understatement. They also took special care to wrap and disassembled furniture. They also were meticulous about packing the truck. When we arrived in PA, our items had not shifted and was not damaged.

There was ~$5,000 worth of damage, and the driver marked brand new items as severely damaged without taking pictures or letting me get onto the truck to look at them. HOWEVER, our current experience with them is one of our best. Michelle, Leanna, and Chris packed us up in 2 days with professionalism, kindness, an eye for detail (especially concerning our high-value items), and I have faith that when I open those boxes on the other end they will look like how they went in. While the movers were delayed in getting to us, so far they are efficient, professional, wrapping everything meticulously, and are working hard. The service reps on the phone have also been professional and generally, just nice! Much different experience in just a few years. I highly recommend this crew!

They completely slowed down, honked at me, and shouted degrading comments out the window. It was intimidating and made me feel EXTREMELY uncomfortable. This behavior is completely unacceptable, especially while representing a company. The truck's license plate was 36794P, which should make it easy to identify who was driving at the time. I hope management takes this seriously and holds those involved accountable. No one should have to experience this.
