Rooms are large, showers are hot, balcony views are great and most importantly the hotel staff is very accommodating to prepare food for the early start of a miners day! Breakfast prepared at any time and a lunch packet to go. Couldn't be easier. Restaurant is absolutely delicious as well. Surprising the buffet always has crispy fresh green, a spread of fresh meats, fish and veg and always an ice cream bar. The mining themed bar is an absolute must. Roof bolts in the ceiling; how authentic!? My last colleague compared the bar to a museum. Recommended for the hotel, restaurant and bar. The only slight downside is during the week at night when a lot of users hop on the wifi it slows down quite a bit. Small consideration, still a 5 star on my book!
