None of the underneath layers were colored. I reached out the the salon to ask what I paid for ($377 in total) and they confirmed it was for full balayage. When I asked why there was no color on the under layers I was told they book and price by the hour, so I paid for the full hour of service and not necessarily full coverage balayage. I couldn't help but feel like I was overcharged, but like I said, I like the result. I went in hoping for full balayage, paid for full balayage and I still can't help but wonder what partial balayage would look like (and cost). But the salon did offer to refund their standard $30 for the misunderstanding.
