A fair mechanic that charges an honest price.

Dustin was so calm with me as he sprayed water on my rim to remove the debris left behind. Dustin further explained he looked at the video to see if his employee was actually negligent in the way he did his job. Pumpelly found 2 patches on my tire and replaced both for FREE! I highly recommend Pumpellys Tire Center to handle all your tire needs as they stand by the quality we deserve....especially a single lady.

The work performed here can't get any better. Also, although they work quickly to get you back on the road, they have a very comfortable waiting area with TV and coffee if you wish to wait. I am elderly and disabled I have never had a company look out for me the way this company has. They definitely go above and beyond what I have ever had anyone do. I totally trust this company not to overcharge, or tell me I have to do repairs that are unnecessary or wanted . Believe me, I don't say that easily when it comes to Car Repair but this company totally has my trust! Family Auto is a good company ,run by good people. I am very thankful for them!

Two hours into a 12 hour trip, my car overheated and left me stranded on I-10. AAA sent a tow truck…read morewhich took us to Family Auto & Quick Lub Services. The radiator was split with possible damage to the engine. I left the car with them to replace the radiator and then test for additional damage to the engine. They then drove me and my wife to the airport to rent a car (not going into that saga now but no cars available from anyone yet Avis managed to majically make one appear). We continued on our trip and my car was ready when we returned. Mike had kept in touch daily so I already knew that the engine was ok and just the radiator had needed repair. I couldn't ask for more caring and helpful service having been stranded in unfamiliar territory. By the way, while I didn't see much of Lake Charles, all the people I met remind me of what true southern hospitality means. I was concerned that the price was high (although cheaper than the alternatives) so I looked it up on the internet after getting home. The price was on the high end of the expected range but within the range so I can't complain. I am sure there are cheaper places around but I doubt there are any beetter. If I ever have a car problem in Lake Charles I'll go back to Family Auto & Quick Lube Services. The only thing I think I'd suggest they change is the length of their name.
