I work for a large well-known corporate company and I have called Mid City Taxi to make arrangements for taxi service for one of our Account Managers that needed a ride to LAX from one of our client's business meeting. I have arranged a time for her to be picked up and come to find out that her service was awful. The cab driver was 45 minutes late (mind you that she had to catch a scheduled flight out of LAX), driver drove slowly on the 105 freeway (never considered to drive on the carpool lane) to the destination and what was worst was the cab driver was TEXTING and DRIVING!!! WTH!!! My coworker asked the cab driver, "Isn't it ILLEGAL to text and drive?" and his response was, "I don't know". Huh? What do you mean you do not know!?!? I assure you that we will never use this taxi service again. This driver is irresponsible; he put my coworker in risk of danger because of his careless driving, as well as the other motorists around him.
