Well Mr. Gordon assured me that my truck just about ready to pick up it was supposed to be a 2015 International with a Cummins engine just like the one I bough t from him a year prior for a single axle western Star. But the international was way underpowered. Left his shop at 515pm on a Wednesday afternoon . The thing is I flew from Memphis to Houston then took a Lyft that charged metic. As much. Gordon kept insisting that I ride up the road and meet the manthat would be delivering my truck to my house in Memphis. I told him I fy all the way out there to drive it back. .He kept insisting like he knew the truck would not make it. Well I got 175 miles up the road and the power steering unit was going in and out whining. Then the front end was bouncing all over the highway. The steering tire were glued together and over 7 year old. I had to stop and buy 1200.00 worth of front steer tires . While they were changing the tires the manager came and got me and said I needed to look at this.. all the transmission had leaked out onto the ground and the hydraulic fluid and the nPowersteering fluid also had layout. The manager took me to autozone and I bought. 200 worth of fluids. I made it 30 more miles and all the transmission fluid was leaking out . I was on I-30 East Bound in thunderstorms with one lane open under construction over a 3 mile bridge and no where to pull over. Both compressors for the brakes . So I had no brakes . I had to let thecc slow down to 20mph and 2 more miles to go cn the bridge. If someone ahead would have slammed on there brakes I would have rear ended them or put the truck in the river and most likely drown. The doors on the truck would not open because the dump bed had sealed both doors to the truck where they would not open. I had to climb out the window. Mr. Gordon knew my life was in danger. That's why he. Kept in dusting on shipping the truck to me. Looks like he knew something was Going to happen to me. I would never buy truck or any piece of equipment from this man. The bed would not lift up any rock or dirt inside the bed. 2 mechanics spent 2 days try to change out the PTO and could never get the old one off.Mr Gordon does not need to be in business any longer. Am afraid someone is going to get seriously I njure d or die driving one others e trucks. I lost 2 weeeks of work equaling 45,000.00 I had to pay for the parts to rebuild the front of the motor. 3 250..00 hotel bill was 2,000.00 ,food for 3 people for 5 days 500.00 paying Gordon's mechanic and expenses 3,000.00, Now I have hired an attorney in Houston to go after all this. Which totals around 100,000,00". . Not one time did Gordon say send the truck back that he would fix i .He knew the truck was no good from the beginning. I purchased a Chip Truck from these guys ( AKA Chip Truck Express ) for $35,000.00. Was told I was getting a 2004 International 4300 with Air Brakes. Purchased 8-8-2018 , to include shipping on a trailer to Seattle Wa. One month later I called Gordon Penny the Owner and asked when the truck would be arriving ? I was informed by Gordon the Shipping price had gone from $4000 to $6500 and that he wanted to supply a rebuilt engine and tires and have one of his guys drive it from Texas to Seattle. I said I would think about it and get back to him. I immediately contacted the finance company and asked them to step in and enforce the shipping that was part of the finance agreement. I tried several time to communicate with Gordon about progress with my build to no avail. 10 days days later I get a call from a Transport company telling me my truck will be arriving the next day and that they have no way to unload the truck and that I will need to make arrangements to unload. Fine part of doing business. It cost $450 to have a low boy trailer to come unload. Now the truck arrives , and it looks like someone built it in there back yard ! First thing I see is that it is not an air brake truck ! The chip box is not square ! There are big gaps between the Pass through box and Chip Box No shelves or Hooks in the Pass through Box Gaps between the Tool Boxs and Chip Box Tool Boxs rattle when truck is running Tool boxes missing nuts and not even secured to the Truck There is no Ladder Rack on top No Side Ladder Keys dont work in doors , any key will start the Truck Engine is leaking oil The Paint , runs and waves everywhere ! Looking at there welds , My finance company could do better ! I am sure this company does no care about the product its sells and produces. I would not purchase anything thing from them ever again.
