When I tell you that I have been to spas, and med spas all over the world (Europe, Asia, Africa) and United States, and spas in your favorite five star hotels...and when I tell you that everyone who knows me knows that I am beyond super picky, and rarely ever impressed... I was on Yelp the other day searching for places that offered the Oxygeneo facial...This place was the only one that came up...The review I read was bad, the poster was complaining about her card being overcharged, (come to find out that it was only by $5 whole dollars! I thought it was hundreds of dollars the way she was carrying on SMH)...but somewhere in that review she said that she was very pleased with the actual service she received...Once I saw that part, I decided that I was gonna go ahead and book it- because again, I didn't see anyone else offering it and I want to see if it was really better than the Hydra facial (Spoiler alert: It is!) I researched this treatment before I set out to make my appointment, so I was expecting it to be upwards of $300, and was ready to pay that...New Year, new me, who dis?! Skin bout to be on fleek! Lol I was super geeked when I found out that they were running a special for January and the treatment would only be $99!!! Seriously, stop reading this post and go book an appointment right now!! Sometimes when you get a discounted anything the (discounted) value seems to be equally reflected in whatever you got... I'm so thankful I found someone who knows how to be honest about the treatments that will and won't work for me, and makes sure I look like the best version of myself. She's also very upfront about any possible side effects, so I am always prepared with what to expect, although I am yet to have any issues after any treatment. Amy is meticulous and a perfectionist, and I wouldn't settle for anything less when it comes to my face. It also helps that she is the absolute sweetest soul with the best personality! From the minute she stepped into the room, she was warm and caring and gave me a run down of my options for treatment - immediately telling me that she had samples for me to try of all products before spending the money out of pocket to try them! While my visit today was completely on time, I can understand why a Doctor like this might right late sometimes, because she listed to all of my concerns and patiently responded to all of my questions. I think that is much better than having someone race through your visit to stay on time! The treatments were incredibly expensive, and I expected to see at least some improvement, but that simply wasn't the case. One of the biggest reasons I purchased a package was because I was told it would be a customized treatment plan tailored to my skin concerns. However, when I later asked Nikelle for the treatment plan I had paid for, I was told there wasn't actually a treatment plan. Instead, she explained that she just looks at my skin when I come in and decides what I need at that appointment. That was not what I thought I was signing up for, and it left me feeling confused and disappointed. The entire experience felt very unorganized and lacking in communication. For the amount of money I invested, I expected more transparency, more guidance, and most importantly, results. When I expressed my concerns, I didn't feel like they were taken seriously or addressed in a meaningful way. I did not come back to Accelerated Aesthetics after being so upset and reaching out the owner about my concerns. I left feeling extremely disappointed, overcharged, and frustrated. Spending almost $4,000 on treatments that produced little to no results is not something I can overlook, and I wish I had taken my business elsewhere.
