This company is also AmericanCPR.com as well as a few other companies. My company hired AmericanCPR at the same address for classes for our staff. We scheduled for the CPS for Adults infants and children as well as there Electrical Safety Course. We confirmed both courses were certificated. We were told the CPR Course could take up to 2 hours and the Electrical Safety Course was about 4 hours. We paid and scheduled for our Friday all-staff Saftey Meeting at 8:00AM. We received a call from American CPR that our trainer would be late. He arrived at about 9AM. The trainer guy was great. The CPR Course was good. When we get to the Electrical Saftey, we were shown a 15-minute video from the early 90's and given a 15-page notebook that was an overview of the video with a 7 question quiz. This took about 20 minutes. We paid over $400 for just the electrical training!!! The worst part is dealing with the staff. They are argumentative and want to prove that they are right and you are wrong. We requested our certificates for about 3 months before they sent them to us. They are not professional and do not provide was they claim too. Save your time and frustration and go with another company. I wouldn't recommend them to any company! Express Companies has a great many different business it dabbles with online among them is American CPR the branch that concerns itself with providing CPR/AED and FA courses to anyone who is not a "professional". That being said let's go do a review. American CPR is using old standards to do their training thus you could say the training they are selling you is not up to today's standards nor in the real world would they be approved to deliver old trainings. I know of a few people in my profession(HHA) who took thier training only to be notified by a state regulator that A - CPR training is not the latest science standard and I had to spend more of my own time and money(from my meager salary) in order to remain certified. You know in our job it's no certification-no job! Stay away from American CPR. read more
