10 THINGS YOU DON'T KNOW ABOUT SEARCHBERG 1.) IT'S A NUMBERS GAME FOR THEM BUT WITHOUT A CLEAR STRATEGY. The impression I have is it's easy to get new clients for them but then there's really no strategy behind their SEO. It's a hit and miss. But a good strategy they have is taking your money. They promise you a money back guarantee but then they will string you along for 6-8 months because "SEO takes time". Next thing you know, they will use that not to give you their refund. 2.) LACK OF HONESTY Overall traffic was going down the whole time. When I spoke to Rick Faultner, he said there was a bump on the 8th month as he was responding to the dispute I filed. But it's disingenuous. There's a bump in March is because I visited the sites so many times that month because I was updating it which is proven through the IP visits from where I am. A real SEO company would mark a client's IP address and their own so as not to affect the metric of the visits. In this case, they're using my own IP hits as justification for the bump. Who knows what they will do to future clients on inflating traffic from shady IP addresses. 3.) OVERALL TRAFFIC WILL LIKELY GO DOWN FOR A LONG TIME OR FOREVER My traffic for the last 8 months just kept going down with no confidence as to the next move. 4.) YOU'RE BETTER OFF POSTING ON SOCIAL MEDIA and POSTING BLOG ARTICLES ON YOUR OWN. As part of the package. They will offer social media management posts and blog posts. But then they've made mistakes on several occasions of posting blurry images and stock photo images on Instagram which likely resulted to me losing a potential partnership with an influencer because of those. Also, they will promise a certain number of posts like in Twitter per month but I had some months where they just posted 1 post. 5.) SHORT LINKS ARE IMPORTANT Google doesn't recognize www.yourwebsite.com/categories/cool-shirts. Google only recognizes short links which is www.yourwebsite.com/cool-shirts. They didn't do this short-linking for me. It's funny that if you visit SearchBerg's website, they use ShortLinks on every link they have. 6.) THEY WILL LIE AND NOT HONOR THEIR WORD ESPECIALLY THEIR MONEY BACK GUARANTEE In connection to #2, not only that they're disingenuous, they won't honor their word. When I complained and filed chargebacks weeks ago, Rick emailed me and said that they will refund all the money I paid. You'll see it in one of the photos below. You can guess what happened, nothing. Thank you Rick. Thank you Valerie. 7.) INCONSISTENT FOLLOW UPS & CANNOT BE REACHED Emails were sent. No replies. Rick, the last person I made contact with, said he will get back to me. Nothing for 3 weeks now. 8.) THERE WILL LIKELY BE NO SALES CONVERSIONS Ultimately, it's about the sales. Traffic is just one thing. SearchBerg couldn't even improve the overall traffic for my site. 9. ) YOU'RE BETTER OFF PAYING $200-$300 TO AN INDEPENDENT SEO FOR THOUSANDS OF BACKLINKS ONE TIME THAN WITH SEARCHBERG FOR 6-8 MONTHS. They outsource their services & you can easily tell. If they're claiming they submit backlinks and all that, it's nothing compared to paying someone thousands of backlinks. It's just part of the whole product packaging spiel. Better pay someone directly than paying SearchBerg with their mark-up. 10.) REVIEWS HERE ARE FAKE (& POSSIBLY EVEN BOUGHT) I've asked around the industry and I've heard that many, including SearchBerg, are now applying positive counter-feedbacks like maybe 5-10 for every negative review they get. If you look at Yelp, Reddit, TrustPilot, Google Reviews and Better Business Bureau, there's plenty of bad reviews for SearchBerg yet all of a sudden, several positive reviews would show up (such as in Google). So far not too happy! I've spent around $5,500 and they created and optimized my website about 6 months ago.... I can still sit in my living room and google window cleaners near me ... can't even find my website.... my business address is my home so .... was expecting much more by now.... if this situation improves I will come back and recant for my discouragement I'm feeling right now.... they had told me I'd see results in 5 months.... 6 months and 5 G into it .... nothing. COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT CLAIM - CLIENT BEWARE On January 30, 2023, a year after using Searchberg for SEO services for my published books, I received a Claim Number for Copyright Infringement from a legitimate copyright law firm in California. They requested I provide them with the license for using one of their client's copyrighted photographs of the Denver skyline that was used in a campaign by Searchberg on my website. I immediately contacted my PM at Searchberg regarding their licensing of this photo and was told that their legal department would be contacted and would get back to me and that I "would not be hung out to dry". To date they HAVE NOT responded to any of my requests for assistance. After consulting an attorney and doing our "due diligence" of both the photographer, the photo of the Denver skyline Searchberg used, and the US Copyright Licensing Office, we found that it was indeed a misuse of the photo. We were advised by our counsel to not ignore this claim. We negotiated with the copyright law firm and settled the claim. All documentation has been provided to Searchberg with no response to date from them, even though they were responsible for the use of this copyrighted photo. STAY FAR AWAY! I used Searchberg for a few projects and let me explain the situation with one and why you should NOT work with the company. #1 Your project manager will always be in a meeting when you call, since the time I signed up with them, I have had 3 different project managers and the issue is the same, they will never be readily available when you call, then the receptionist will tell you that they will get a message over to them and they will call back but NO, they won't call back they will send an email. They keep switching project managers, this says a lot already. #2 I purchased a website, with 1 year of maintenance, they should make it clear before you sign up that maintenance is NOT website edits, it's simply making sure your website is up and running (which doesn't take much time or effort), and any further changes you may need, ex: need product, title change, price change, etc, will come at an extra cost. OK, fine, let's say I was aware of this and was okay with it, when it comes time for me personally to enter the WP backend to make my own changes, I can not access the entire backend because they used a paid theme and kept the credentials for themselves. So pretty much, to enter the backend of the installed theme that they purchased to create the site, I need the credentials for it, I asked them for it considering the website is MINE and I paid for FULL OWNERSHIP of it, they are requesting I pay to get the credentials for the theme backend. SO now, I am stuck in this circle where they tell me I need to pay for further edits or do the edits myself, then I try to do the edits myself, and OH! I can't because I don't have access to it. What a pickle. #3 Their communication is extremely poor and email responses take several days. #4 They do not provide any additional value. They won't provide recommendations on how to make your website better, nothing. As a matter of fact, they literally do what you tell them and if you are not a website expert they will create a poorly designed site based on your requests when in fact, a trustworthy agency would give pointers as well as provide feedback on why certain things should NOT be done on your site. #5 They promise mobile-friendly sites and DO NOT produce it. I have requested over several weeks to have my website edited based on what I paid for, MOBILE FRIENDLY, and they ignore my requests. Do not do business with them. read more

Stay away by all means! This is a fraud based on supposedly marketing company that promised the moon to their buyers and yet they do not do a crap. They claim to refund in full in the first 30 days if buyers are not satisfied, well good luck with receiving your refund back. The reason for it is because they do not know anything regarding SEO and they make your work period instead lol. I had to email them 100 times in order to receive my funding and I ended up receiving a fake made-up receipt that shows transaction is pending! WOW! I do not recommend this company! I work with this company for four months and I was confident because they guarantee that my website will be well build and I will start have clients if I will not be happy I can have my money back. After my project was done I didn't have no clients and I found out that my website is not functional! My website was working fine before I just needed some updates and a good marketing wherever they did when I find a client on my own she couldn't make a payment or schedule an appointment, so frustrating I go back to them and they told me that is my fault I should check when it was done in the first month and now I have to pay again, When I mention that I wanna use their policy and have my money back they told me that is my fault about website, they show me that was 2-3 clicks on my page and that means they give me clients, visitors and clients are different things !!!! and maybe that was me because I was checking my website all the time you can't claim that you give me clients because no one contact me, on top of everything they add that maybe the first company who initial build my website was going through my stuff but who responsibility is to secure my website and my personal information I should've been informed immediately if was any suspicious activity. Don't do it! i spent nearly $1000.00 to receive on page SEO work, content, and articles. They promised everything and delivered very little and very slowly for the cost. I did not receive anything for the $200 I paid for the on page SEO, just advice on a plugin that I needed to disable myself and poof $200 gone. The first content that was sent over the first time looked as though it was written in India or Pakistan, after complaining about it, it got better, but the amount of content that I paid for was not being delivered. I paid $500 for 5000 words for my site, but received maybe 1000 at most. Not to mention one of the staff members, Julian was very argumentative about everything. Every time I talked to someone it was the same answer, we will have a meeting about this. I would call the next day to get a status and it was again always the same answer, it is being worked on. Finally after several weeks of fighting with them to get what I paid for, I gave up and settled with what I got, but never got what I paid for. Save yourself the headache, time, and trouble, stay away from these guys. Do a google search on them, you will see a lot of the same complaints popup. Several of them in fact. I have been working with searchberg as a new business owner and they have been taking all advantage of that. They have been draining me and charging obsurb prices for minor changes. Even with knowing I'm a startup business. They have no set price list and uses the start high go low tactic. Please look elsewhere for all of your business needs.
