Setup like a pub, we were seated inside a wine barrel - very fun! Sheep cheese pastry with tomato jam - loved the contrast between the sun dried tomatoes and the sweet tomato jam Goat cheese with truffle paste - mild & creamy cheese went perfectly with the truffle & they made it vegetarian for us as it is usually served with ham Cheese spätzle for the main dish & it was huge.....thick cheesy pulls throughout the al dente pasta and topped with fired onion bits.....wow, what a fantastic flavor layer.
