After crawling through forums and reaching out to a couple of buddies in the Houston area, I reached out to the owner, Mr. Peter Christopher, there at Executive Motorsports. He took the time to explain the various options at hand and subsequently indicated which would suit my needs best. My concern was reducing the amount of transmittable heat that entered the interior of my vehicle more so than acquiring a "dark" tint. Ended up going with a nano-ceramic film on all vehicle windows, and Mr. Christopher made it an objective to offer a price which I couldn't turn down. Without a previously scheduled appointment, I was in and out of the location in two hours. Great customer service, and great products. Will definitely be returning for future needs. read more

I have been coming here for all my car tints or paint films, but recently haven't had a good experience with the service received by the lady at front desk name Mary. Not sure if the management changed or what since I last visited few years back. When I was coming in for my new tints Peter would call me daily for new business, but when they did a poor job on my windows and bubbles/lines showed up on 3 windows, they always made excuses to get it replaced in timely manner. I knew there was a catch to the advertised lifetime warranty! I had to make 2 different appointments to replace 3 windows which was done poorly to begin with. I don't live nearby so that was very inconvenient. They refused to do the rear one the first time and made excuses that they were busy on Fridays. However, when I had my new tints done, it was Friday as well but no excuse then since new money was coming in. (Note entire job was done in hour and half for all 5 windows). Then for my second tint replacement even when I booked the appointment 2 weeks in advance and no one was booked at that time that lady told me it would be about 3 hrs when I arrived. That pissed me off what's the point of appointment then. Reason being was that other cars in line before me. Note that I showed up at 8:50am. After arguing with Peter they were able to do it in hour. I won't be coming back here for my other cars especially because of Mary and her lack of customer service skills. The only reason I would be visiting back is for warranty reason not for new business unless they hire or train their people. There is no communication between what Peter tells you on phone and what people at front desk tells you. read more

This place is busy. Probably because they really do a great job.It's a lifetime guarantee! I waited for about an hour for me to get the tint on my compact car. It cost me about $189. I have never got a chance to write a review since I had my car window tinted. It has been about 2 years and they are still as great as new! I no longer remember how hot summer can be in Houston until my boss complained about it. The quality of the tint had saved me from the heat when my AC was not working properly. I brought my car to Executive Motorsports to get the windows tinted last weekend. Making arrangements prior was very easy. All questions were answered very professionally and we were greeted by name when we arrived. They were great about explaining the different options and brands of materials, as well as the pricing. I was fairly disappointed with how this business operates. I found them online when searching for a place to have my car tinted. When you call them on the phone you call their "office" and not an actual location(warning number one). The guy I spoke to on the phone said they use nothing but high quality 3m tint but didn't know the exact type and couldn't find out for me(warning #2). I also asked if they had any additional charges and he told me it was all cars $75 and only $20 extra if you wanted to get a darker, illegal tint. I asked him if there were any catches and he said no. I questioned him further and he was quite intent that I wouldnt be paying any extra when I show up. We all know what the saying is "if it's too good to be true, it probably is.". I made an appointment to come in the next day. The next day I showed up and told the guy I had an appointment. He asked me for my keys and took my car around back. He came back out and asked me what type of tint I wanted. I told him about the price I had been given on the phone. He them went on to extol how poorly the 3m tint performed and that it wasn't even really 3m brand tint. He also explained this tint typically turns purple in about a year. I asked him about the full lifetime warranty I had been told about on the phone. He said it only covers peeling and nothing else. The salesman them showed me their basic package starting at $169 and just going up in price from there. This just isn't good business and I'm fairly sure 3m wouldn't appreciate this place slandering their brand. I managed to make a decent deal with the guy I dealt with but I would not take anything this business says at face value and frankly I'd find somewhere else with more honest business practices. read more

I requested some bids and had intended to use a place near Montrose, where I had other business to take care of. Somehow I had Peter respond to my bid, so it appears my bid went to several places. I told Peter of the mistake an he offered me a discount to use his place. I checked out the reviews for his shop, so I felt that it was worth the discount to use his shop, although the shop I had chosen was more expensive and higher quality. After the work was done, I noticed a scratch right in the middle of the front window, just under the mirror and closer to the driver side, so it was so noticeable. I asked them to check it out and they said that they noticed it too, but assured me that it was going to go away after a few weeks. My gut reaction was to make a big issue of this because my instincts told me that after a few weeks, this scratch was not going to disappear. Surely enough, it didn't and I regret trusting them about that. They say they will repair/replace if there is any issue and questioned that this option is only available on weekdays or in the mornings, before they get busy. They said they will honor that I can come on weekend to get it repair/replace. This was negotiated upfront, before I left. I still haven't have time on weekends to go get it replaced or see if they will honor the agreement. I just feel that I should have argued harder for them to replace it that day, so next time I should go with my gut instincts. I have to say the workers there are nice and they get the work done faster than most places, so I think quality becomes an issue. I didn't mind the little stuff of residue left over on my car door. The issue was the crack on my tint and in my front windshield, so I notice it every day. read more

The tint looks great and price was fair. However, the installer got glue and liquid all over my backseat and did not clean it off, so now I get to clean up their mess. Apparently no towel/cover was put over my back speakers either, and there's signs of liquid in the speakers. That should be a fun replacement when it fails. This place told me they were giving me the better tinting, and convinced me to upgrade while I was here. It seems like a good deal, but the workmanship was shotty. There's obvious places on my Windows where the tinting wasn't even cut right, and these guys didn't even have the honor within their own work to MAKE it right. I live 80+ miles away, so it's not like I can just stroll on by and say, 'fix this'. I had it done while I was still attending UHD in Houston. If you have a truck, go somewhere else. These guys obviously don't know how to work on sliding back windows. The area around the latch has clear daylight showing in gaps around it. Same issue on my push latches on my small back windows. My truck is older, but any true craftsman is good at their trade, not just with the newest and best cars that roll through. The only reason I'm giving them two stars at all is because the tint they did sell has held under the TX heat well. However, if you're a lady, and you go here, you've already made a mistake. I told them I wanted darker front windows, and they sold me tint LIGHTER than the Texas limit. I'm not stupid, I know there's a law, and I know people push it. My truck is black, and hot as heck in the summer. I also can't stand being leered at if I'm sitting in my truck waiting for a friend, and having someone lie like that and then give me the wrong product? Crappy business practice! I wouldn't send ANYONE here. There are plenty of places that can put a tint on that will hold up, and I bet they'd do it without leaving daylight peeking in. Don't trust them. Amateurs. read more

Just had them install SunTek CXP in my Grand Cherokee. They did a great job and knocked it out very quickly!

The people at Executive Motorsports are very comfortable to work with. My salesperson, Tika, showed me samples and price options and even took me outside to show me what the tint may look like on my SUV. The installation took about 2 hours bc I opted for additional windshield tint for my wife with lupus. I cannot attest to how well it survives over time, but I am pretty sure they will fix any problems along the way since they warranty their work. I purchased the 3M for the sides and Black Max nano carbon for the windshield. I did pay more than expected, but I am positive that I would have paid much more elsewhere. I am happy with my purchase and knowing that my wife will be safe in this car. read more
