We hired the company believing that all relevant filings had been properly handled. However, we later identified multiple discrepancies across payroll, business tax filings, and individual returns. For example, the company claimed it filed with the IRS and Hacienda and it did not.
We also found issues with the accuracy of bookkeeping entries. Communication around these matters was limited, and at no point did we have face-to-face access to a licensed CPA. As a result, we had to refile and correct all documents independently.
Based on our experience, we recommend that others conduct thorough due diligence before proceeding and pay no money upfront until the work is done. There are multiple posts in other forums about this. The fee for all business, personal, and payroll seems low cost upfront, but it's not worth it if everything needs to be redone.
