It has been a little over two years since this whole process started of me and my wife looking to buy a home in Coarsegold CA. It started with many phone calls to several realtors until I spoke to Brad. His calm, sincere and honest demeanor over the phone drew me in and so we made plans to take the 5 hour trek and meet. Over the past 2 years our home in Orange County fell out of Escrow three different times and each time after having Brad drive us all over Coarsegold up and down the hills, to Mariposa and back to Oakhurst, I would have to call him after making an offer and tell him our house fell out of Escrow. Many, many hours we talked and spent time looking around for houses. My wife and I had several requirements that at times seemed unattainable, but Brad kept saying...we will just keep looking, the right one is out there. His honestly and opinions were something that my wife and I became to value immensely when making a decisions on a home. And for that I want to thank him. Many times I would send him a list of homes (a list of 25+ homes) that we wanted to see over the weekend. With a smile, he took it with a grain of salt. By the time we got to his office he would tell us which ones he knocked off our list because he knew what we wanted and what would not work for us. And we were OK with that. He had earned our trust. Prior to choosing a broker we called several other brokers who listed in the neighborhood and area. They either did not return our calls or told us they were busy and suggested we contact another agent. Phil Knapp, when we made our initial contact, returned our call immediately and came out to look at the house within a half hour of our call. We were impressed. Nicole Knapp became our agent and continued to be very prompt and responsive. Throughout the process Nicole was very quick to answer our inquiries and take care of our needs. She also was able to recommend local contractors people, painters, etc., who also were very responsive and easy to work with. Horrible service and highly unprofessional as they are unpleasantly rude to speak with. Do NOT do…read moreany business with them! They are never in their office and almost never pick up their calling number. And if by chance you do get ahold of someone, they quickly rush you off the phone and tell you "Look at our website for all information" before I even get a chance to get a word in and ask questions the website doesn't have the answers to. AND at the very top of all this BS, they want you to FAX, Email, or just leave sensitive personal information like social security number and bank statements at their door when they aren't there. Not to mention they charge $25 bucks per application. They almost made $100 bucks off me today, until I figured out this is just some kind of sick tactic scam they have going on. The house I was trying to rent out from them has been on the market for the past six months and only just recently had a open house. I can't imagine how they would be if I were to rent the house from them. Glad I chose to walk instead. Everyone else should do the same and steer clear of this dump. It doesn't even match its building name to its application name. That was the first red flag right there. Also one last thing to point out, the host of the open house obviously made up a charge of pet rent when I asked if they accepted any. She first said "no" then made up a charge of $500 for only small pets.
