Giving 5 stars because we love the new owners ! Delightful. Amenities in the four star range. Bath tub was largest we've seen on our trip. Front desk will provide laundry service , one bag = 15NZD. No noise from street or neighbors. Parking in back is tight so go slow. Kitchen mid to small but very clean . They will provide an air mattress if you want to add a 4th person. Run across the road and swim in the lake. Nice fish restaurant almost next door. Thermal spot on lake is across from fire house just a tad stroll down from motel . (A local ranger told us about that) 15 min walk along lake to shopping core and visitor center. read more

We stayed for a night last October and would definitely stay again while in that area. The motel offered spacious, modern, clean rooms in a great location. Besides we received great recommendations for our dinner and breakfast restaurant choice. read more
