She didn't just take what documentation I gave her and go from there, she also asked me about things I hadn't considered before. The result was a larger refund than I expected. It's hard to find someone honest, invested in your best outcome, who's there to answer questions, and who doesn't drag their feet. I'm glad I found Minerva Cuellar!

I had been a client of this firm since 2018 and had positive experiences, but this recent tax…read moreseason changed my opinion sadly. Communication was inconsistent, and I repeatedly had to follow up for updates. The most serious issue involved an admitted oversight related to projected tax liability for 2026 (something I didn't ask for), which has caused hours dealing with the IRS and a moderate amount of stress. What left the worst impression was the response afterward. Rather than taking meaningful accountability for communication failures and oversight, the focus was placed on defending the return's technical accuracy and justifying the fee. The small "goodwill adjustment" offered felt dismissive given the amount of time and frustration involved. Accuracy is expected from a paid tax professional. Communication, attention to detail, and client support are what separate a quality firm, and unfortunately this experience fell short in those areas.

I cannot say enough great things about Rodriguez Holland & Co. When it comes to small business…read moreaccounting, they truly care about their clients and helping them in every way possible. I came to RH & Co after a bad experience with another CPA who I had hired to set up my small business. I needed the paperwork created and filed with the state for creating my LLC. While the other company gave me nothing but heartache, they led me to RH & Co and for that I am thankful! First off, RH & Co found mistakes the other company had made when filing my LLC paperwork. When they explained the errors to me, they had already mapped out several ways of how to deal with the issues. I felt fully informed and they took what could have been a stressful situation and made it much easier on me by presenting me with the facts and all possible solutions up front. In addition to reviewing my LLC paperwork, I hired RH & Co to help with my small business accounting. Rather than just having a company do all of my accounting for me, I wanted a company who would set everything up correctly for me and then teach me how to do it myself. This is exactly what they did. I took in all of my info and paperwork and they took a few weeks to organize and set everything up in QuickBooks. I was then given a 2 hour one-on-one lesson on how to enter everything correctly and how to reconcile my accounts so that tax season would be easier on both me and them. While I do my monthly accounting, I have had periodic questions and RH & Co has been very happy to assist and quick with a response (usually same day)! I was dreading my first year of business taxes, but know that with RH & Co on my side, I have nothing to worry about. I trust that they will continue to provide the most professional, efficient, and quick service that I have come to know.
