The staff here where welcoming and very accommodating. We where sited in a room at the back that was hidden from the lounge bar a sort of dining area where you could also just sit and have a few drinks. The food was basic, and that's what we where looking for, nothing fancy with a two course & a drink being under £15. There was a real open fire in the lounge bar, even though it was not lit you could imagine this place being real cosy in the winter months. I would go back here if l was ever in the area, customer service was definitely 5/5.

The other half of the restaurant was not in use. I got the impression that they could not handle any more than 20 covers in an evening sitting.
