The buffet breakfast was an assortment of juices, pastries, cold meats and cheese, chocolate cereals, fruit and some hot food - eggs, bacon, sausages. The food was plentiful however, I struggled to find many healthy options. The majority was sugar based. The staff were very polite and helpful and this is what really made the stay pleasurable. If you're looking for somewhere simple and clean, this is worth considering.

One had totally destroyed bottom bracket -pictured here- AND a back tire with no tread left). And, he had the nerve to show me pictures of the $5000 bikes he was buying for road bike rental when we delivered the bikes back! We were led to believe we would be getting high end bikes, they would have been decent had they new/good mechanical condition. Not high end though. We could have bought new bikes for the same price and sold them back to the store at the end of trip. And avoided 3 trips to the mechanic during our trip. He did pay us back for the mechanic visits and refunded one day of rental after multiple requests. Absolutely not advised to patronize.

DO NOT RENT BIKES FROM VELOCE!!!!!!!…read more Gennaro de Concilio that works for Veloce is dishonest, overpriced and delivered bikes that were at least 8 years old. Two bikes for 4 days was $600!!!! The bikes had inadequate gearing for the big mountain passes near Bormio. They did not appear to be safe and had obvious cosmetic damage. We advised Gennaro that we were not going to use the bikes and requested a refund. He said he would process the cancelation, but never issued a refund.
