This WONDERFUL place has a HUGE assortment of pottery in so many colors, shapes, and sizes. I gotta add that our yards are beautiful thanks to being able to shop there. We get so many compliments from our neighbors and friends about the matching colors and sizes of the planted pottery in our backyard and front yard. I highly recommend you go and look around at the Plant and Pottery Outlet! You won't be disappointed, even my Honeyman enjoys going there, seriously. Also, we are older seniors, so we appreciate them loading our purchases in our SUV. And, when we buy HUGE pieces of pottery, we ask them about a delivery man that delivers. The guy delivery guy doesn't work for them, but they call him if you ask; and he's delivered to our home for a fee about four times through the years, which was well worth his price. And yes we tip him! Again, we love Plant and Pottery Outlet at 6467 Mission Road, Fremont CA. Thanks for reading and happy shopping! We found the infants area just fine because Target usually keep it around the same place. We found the baby food that we wanted and also other stuff too. They have four checkout station here but two were down. I paid with a cashier and then saw one of the sunscreen I got was expensive. So I went back to try and return it but no one was working the counter at customer service. I asked another worker who was doing the drive up delivery and he said someone would come soon. No one came so he was the one who refunded me.

For a good price! Being on the millenial budget, that means that I typically only spend around $50 on gifts. Nothing fancy. My $50 stretched far here! (much better than while shopping at Valley fair Mall). I ended up buying a really pretty Mother's Day pillow, jewelry box, and cute gift bag to place it all in. TJ Maxx is also right next door, and it's a spacious location. Parking is very convenient.

It shares a huge lot with some popular eateries so it may be challenging to get a spot but if you're willing to walk a bit, check the backside of the mall and you may find some good shaded spots under some trees. This shop is huge and has plenty of new and old inventory ready to be sold at discounted prices. There's a lot to go through but if there's something specific, check out the section of the store that best fits that item. They have clothing, furniture, jewelry, electronics, bathroom essentials, kitchenware, as well as goodies for children and pets. I came here specifically in search of an espresso machine - I've been hoping to find something for a long time now. After perusing the other departments, I headed toward the registers and found what I was looking for! $150 off the list price was quite a bargain in my opinion and was exactly what I was looking for. The high end appliances and items seem to be locked up with magnetic anti-theft devices and this machine was no exception. Happy with my find, I headed through the snaking line toward the registers, which are abundant and managed by staff at the ready to complete the transaction. The staff were friendly, efficient, and not at all too pushy with selling their promotional store credit card which would have yielded more savings on this purchase. The transaction was quick and seamless. With the purchase also refundable, it made it just that much more reassuring to have shopped here. Overall, HomeGoods/TJ Maxx is quite a staple as a bargain store for many communities and this one is no different. The items for purchase is abundant, in good quality, and unique for those looking for some additional accent to add to their living space. Most of the staff are found near the registers with a few occasionally walking through the corridors to restock or organize a bit. It's comfortable shopping here with well ventilated air and sectioned off departments for more intentional buying. They also have a bathroom for patrons to use. For those also looking for home appliances like me, this is a great place to start - one of the few reasons to still shop at brick and mortar shops!

[[ Kids Workshop Review ]]…read more Every 1st Saturday (or sometimes even more), Home Depot offers a Kids Workshop for free to build something which they list on their website. For October 2025 it was the Haunted Candy Box. It was our first time doing it so I wanted to give a detailed review and some things I noticed when I went. 1.) Workshop location is OUTSIDE of home depot on the right hand side. I attached a picture to show the location. 2.) Although you have to register on the website beforehand, the event is relatively chaotic and they do not check. I think they get a set amount of kits and they just hand it out until they run out. 3.) When we arrived at 9am, the event wasn't set-up and a bunch of parents with their kids were watching the setup. I don't think they finished until maybe around 9:15am (setting up tables, getting the materials, kits, etc.) 4.) No Aprons available which was a huge bummer. Not sure why the didn't have any. Maybe Home Depot does not ship these aprons in advance and it's whatever is left-over from previous events. 5.) The Tables themselves are pretty tall and I think 3-5 year olds may be able to work on them a bit easier. If your kid is on the smaller side or younger, they may not be able to reach the table. I've seen other parents bring their own miniature table so their kid can work on the craft. 6.) Some parents just showed up and took kits to work on it at home which is not a bad idea in case you don't want to do it there. Overall, I think it's not too bad for a free event but I wish they were more prepared for it. One employee was also very rude at the event we went to and seem annoyed we were asking questions like "Where is the apron?" or "Do you have anymore hammers or screwdrivers?". She would just answer "No" and that was it. Ironically the younger employees were nicer and went to get more tools for us which made her interaction even worse.

Do not purchase furniture at IKEA. Especially do not purchase online and have it delivered…read more We came to the showroom and tried lots of couches. We also visited other stores. We selected a couch and gleefully waited for it to be delivered. We began assembling it. That's where the excitement ends. Unfortunately, they did not deliver the proper items to us. We were supposed to get 3 boxes. We got 2 correct boxes and the third box was a CEILING LAMP instead of the sofa covers. We wound up with a naked couch that looks HORRIBLE. Within an hour we notified the truck delivery driver that we had received a random lamp. They asked us to send a photo. We did. Within another hour we notified them we were actually missing a box and did not receive our complete order. They stopped responding. We then called IKEA customer service, and they said the truck route was set and they would likely not be able to return. Customer service promised to make it right and FedEx the couch covers to us within 5 days. Today was day 5, and it did not arrive. Called customer service again. Spent another 30 minutes on the phone to discover that the resolution was not properly filed, leading to the delay, and now the item is scheduled to arrive in another 5 days. Two weekends with a couch we can't use! I attempted to pivot and said: Can we just get a refund? (At least then we could end this nightmare.) They said sure, and we could schedule a pick up. But *we* would have to disassemble it! We already put hours into assembling it (which took sweat, muscles, and 3 people!) and now we have to take it apart? I asked how we could make this right or if I could speak with a supervisor. They said no supervisor was available at the "call center." (Impatiently waiting for a call back.) But that's when things got weird. At the end of the call the customer service rep asked if we were satisfied with her response. I explained that while not her fault, no, we were not satisfied. She then began to explain how important a positive review of the call was, how negatively not having one would affect her. She sounded frightened and on the edge of tears. She did not want to hang up until we agreed to reconsider her review because it would be so detrimental to her. What is IKEA doing to its own people??? No couch. No resolution. No IKEA is the lesson. Also, I would not want to contribute to someone losing their job or being tortured. I just want to buy a couch and actually receive it in the time that was promised. IKEA claims that it aims "to create a better everyday life for the many people." It has failed. Failed the customer, and possibly worse yet failed the very people it employs. Save yourself. Do not purchase furniture from IKEA.
