We are both definitely coming back! My mother in law and I both love getting massages and would say this is the best massage we've gotten especially for the price, it was so worth it, I'm surprised this place doesn't have more great reviews because it deserves it! My mother in law was a massage envy regular and we were going to initially go there but they didn't have availability so fortunately for us we found our new favorite place! It was clean and professional. I was also able to book it less than a day in advance and requested female massage therapists whose names were Eileen and Lisa. I am very particular and prefer a harder intensity massage and Lisa did great! I was also at first unsure since we didn't discuss focus areas but she is very good at her job because she knew which areas needed to be focused on and even kept going back to the area which I loved- for me it is my upper back. We paid $10 each extra for coconut oil which was nice and they also added hot stones which was amazing! So both my mother in law and I paid $100 each since we tipped very well but it was worth it for the deep tissue, coconut oil, and hot stone massage for 60 min. Without our tip it would have been $80. And they were very nice and professional- offered water, as well as, Chinese candy we've never tried! Can't wait to come back soon!

Today I tried again, deep tissue with walk on the back. She did a walk on the back this time, but she did not have a good technique. She asked if she just continue with only back massage. In conclusion, the price is higher than most places, this massage lady does not know how to give a deep tissue massage and uses a lot of oil. She was nice and giggled a lot but not serious about the massage.

Faun takes time to understand your needs and although she has been a masseuse for many years, she continues to educate herself on the latest developments in Chinese therapy, kinetics, and reflexology. She will give you good advice on things you can do in your every day life to help prevent or irritate a reoccurring problem. She clearly cares about her patience. The ambiance of the facility as part of the Serenity Studio is quaint and homey. She mostly works days and an occasional weekend. If you have your own massage bed, she will make house calls. She works by appointment only. Her rates seem reasonable. I saw her initially through a discount program but would go back for full price when needed. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with her. However, she and her partner have a funny thing about time. The hour appointment is really only 45 min on the table. Which isn't bad if you are prepared for that, but I was disappointed when I got up to dress and saw there was still time on the clock..... I had booked two hours back to back to get a full work up and at exactly at the hour and a half mark, we were done. I was so relaxed, I didn't want to get all "mad"...hey get back in here and finish up. So I just didn't tip as much. I don't think she was intentionally trying to cut my time short, I think she and her partner have just gotten in the habit of booking appts back to back, so the 45 min is about what it works out to with people changing clothes and changing the linens for the next appointment. But as I said, I would return to Faun....I would just make sure I had the right expectations going into it.
