During the COVID-19 pandemic, when many nursing schools faced significant challenges, my school excelled by adding numerous extra virtual programs at their own expense in addition to the mandatory classes. The program lasts two years, and the comprehensive exam is rigorous. After passing my comprehensive exam, I took the NCLEX and passed on my first attempt. In my final semester, the school offered numerous additional classes to help us prepare for the NCLEX at no extra cost. I obtained my Florida license in 2023 and my California license in 2024. I wholeheartedly recommend this school and am proud to be a Sunrise alumnus

Prior to Sunrise School, I had always wanted to see South Florida with my own eyes and enrolling in the school granted me my wish. My imagination of the Miami metropolitan area was always very much so a dreamy one, and graduating from the school was symbolic to my love of this unique part of America. Nothing but good memories of South Florida! I got my Florida license in August, and after only 10 days, the license was fully endorsed to California, much to my amazement by how fast the whole process was considering that it usually takes at least 1 month from what I heard. If you give it your all in this program, you will succeed. Don't make excuses for your shortcomings, take accountability for the grades you receive and just keep trying. Come to class with the right attitude and mindset because Professor Chancy really strives to ensure you understand the curriculum thus you will only pass if you match her efforts, it is only fair. RN school is NOT easy, especially if you're working full time. But again, it's all willpower that makes it possible. The reality is, they will do everything in their power to dismiss you especially if you're outspoken, advocate for yourself, or simply refuse to be silent. Speaking up for yourself? Trust me, they'll find a way to push you out. Talking to the director? Doesn't matter--they don't care. It's all about tuition dollars. They set students up to fail. Concerns aren't addressed, they're brushed aside. The entire system feels designed to profit off students instead of genuinely educating them. Bottom line: this school is not invested in your success it's invested in your wallet.

We pay tens of thousands to attend a school that is lacking in sufficient equipment. Don't let them fool you, the school only consists of 2 floors in the entire office building. With very little study spaces compared to the other campuses. Additionally the "simulation labs" are quite lacking. The arms for IV insertions are falling apart and some are unusable. There are only 3 IV pumps that must be spread out through both floors. Attending open lab is a joke since there isn't enough equipment available. Many things broken or used way past their prime. WHERE is our money going? To add insult to injury, the "student events" we receive are a total joke. For Example, Los Angeles campus received a holiday party that was catered with a Crepe station with many toppings and food to choose from. Our school, where we pay the SAME amount, received cookies to "decorate" but NOT eat because the expiration date on the cookie box was 2020!!!! Are you joking? We pay 100k+ and you can't afford some non expired cookies? Our food option was one box of Walmart cookies that were old and stale. It was an absolute joke and just insulting considering there are people going into debt just to be here. DO BETTER !

I had a very disappointing experience with Chamberlain University's clinical process. The lack of…read moreguidance was a major issue: I was required to locate my own preceptor, and once I did, the approval process was extremely cumbersome. The school uses multiple disjointed systems, so I had to fax paperwork repeatedly. This made no sense since they could access my vaccination records directly in their system (Complio). And in 2026, relying on fax machines is completely outdated. Additionally, the immersion labs were poorly scheduled. They forced everyone to travel to Chicago during one of the busiest weekends in the U.S. for soccer, rather than using the available site in Florida. This felt like a blatant money grab, and the school didn't seem to care about students' financial or logistical burden. Overall, the clinical process was inefficient, outdated, and felt more like a profit-driven system than a supportive educational process. I hope the school modernizes its approach soon.

The classroom environment is laid back and non-stressful. This really helps me to learn and retain the information. I hate going into a classroom with the fear that I will fail because of overly rigid instructors. Danny provides great examples and scenarios to get students to understand. He also repeats the information in different ways to get it to stick. These classes have lot of information so it can be overwhelming but the instructors at Coast to Coast makes it enjoyable.
