They are friendly and knowledgeable and I find the prices fair for weapons and ammo. They also sell black powder which is very good for reenactors or black powder hunters. Some people have complained that there are lines and it can take a while-to be fair that means they are popular and have a lot of business. One of the tell-tale signs of a good place. Do you really want to go to some place other people don't trust?

Updated at bottom: 8/20/26…read more Target World range has permanently lost my business. To be clear, my beef is with the range and the couple of asshats working down there. Not the store - sales staff is good but my loyalty no longer belongs with that store. Shame too, they are less than a mile away and it's a running joke among shooters about how awful the place is. I've spent thousands at Target World on firearms, suppressors, gear, and range time. But the last several visits to the range were the same: rude staff, constant nitpicking, ridiculous rules they make up on the fly that has nothing to do with safety, and the general feeling that customers are purely an inconvenience. Recently, 12 family members in town, including kids 12-16. Wanting a fun & safe range day with ARs, an MP5, handguns, and suppressors, etc.. Target World was a hard no because I knew what the experience would be. I saw how they treated my last friend from out of town who had significant experience. Ridiculous. We went to Survival Trail, had an absolute blast, spent well over $500 that day on ammo and range fees. Worth every penny. I have a lot of money to spend and guns to buy. Target World won't see another dime of it - Honestly don't think they care either. All I ask in return for my patronage is a modicum of respect. *************** 2 weeks later: Just purchased a Sig Sauer MCX Rattler LT 300Blackout 6.75" SBR, A SIG Sauer SLH762-QD suppressor, Aimpoint Duty RDS MR optic, 5 Magpul 30rnd mags.. and of course, 500 subsonic 300 BLk rounds. No need to post amounts, if TW cares they can do the math how much they lost, - I'm still not done buying, and I will happily continue to drive out of my way to avoid TW and give my money to someone else.

They answered any question I had. They were very welcoming and joyful. They were cracking jokes like I've known them for years. Every single person on shift was fantastic. Secondly, I was scoping around bucks county for a gun store with reasonable prices as well as a decent selection. And I must say Tanners has some of the best prices around and a pretty wide variety. I will say, there is an occasional firearm I believe is over priced. But having 9/10 firearms being relatively cheap is a solid deal. Gotta give em props for that. Thirdly, and lastly. They didn't bombard me as I perused their selection. I walked in, they welcomed me, and that was it. They were also jovial with the people I was companioned with. And the entire process for purchasing was clean, straight forward, and quick. I genuinely cannot recommend these guys enough. This may have been my first real time here. But it most definitely will not be the last.

At this point I have been to several other stores so feel more comfortable reviewing this one. All of the staff here were friendly and welcoming to me as a beginner on a budget. Was happy to see some diversity in the staff; definitely made me more comfortable as a young Asian woman. For the record I have felt welcome in every gun store I've been in thus far. I appreciate how honest the gentleman who helped me was. He actually recommended I try some guns out at Relic Firing Line before committing to buying anything at this shop. He seemed genuinely interested in making sure I got the right thing for my needs. The prices were not the best compared to what I saw elsewhere online but the location and service were good so paying some extra was worth it to me at the time. I will definitely return. Based on the reviews it seems other people had poor experiences here, which is unfortunate. I had a good experience with all staff there. They accepted my credit card, despite what another review said.

The sign at the sales desk was drawn in ballpoint pen, so not prominent unless you are up close. Not going back.
