The location was great, with the lake and village adjacent to camp. Also, natural wonders in the…read moregorges are close. We explored the lavender fields and went rafting too! SO MUCH TO DO!
The real surprise was how nice the camping was. The clean showers and WC were excellent. The refrigerators were a lifesaver. (We were camping in a tent, so the comforts made a big difference.)
We enjoyed paella and pizzas on a couple nights from food trucks that would set up in camp. This too took a load off from camp work.
The family that operates the camp is really amazing. They are second or third generation so they truly care about Les Pins.
One highlight was befriending the campers next to us. They have camped here every year for 25 years! Almost all the campers were awesome- all smiles and joy.
Recommendations: Stay at least three or four nights- relax and experience the area. Bring beach towels and umbrella to enjoy the lake better.
