If there is zero stars I would give it to this school. I'm going to write a long review about evolanguage, I wish someone wrote it before I started my course there and wasted money, but for those who have no patience to read long reviews, one sentence:" Don't waste your money, stay away from this school."
First of all, I chose this school because of it's good websites, it was better than all others I found in internet, very clear and good explained, but don't let their website decive you. Second reason I chose this school is because they offered 1 nivou for one month the moment you step in this school you realise this is one BIG LIE, one level for one month is not possible, especially in this school. They work with their own books, they invented, if you can call it a book, black and white, divided into weeks. I applied for B1 and B2, when I went there I realised there is no B1 level, its is mixture of A2 and B1 so I reapeated a lot of things I already knew, didn't learn a lot of new things and lost a lot of time. Teacher Kristina was very irresponsible, coming late and not following those books they gave us, she had her own programs, many things reapeating several times. I stayed in this level for 3 weeks. Then I moved to next level that suppose to be B2 level, but acctually it was B2 and C1, so I basically jumped from A2 to C1 level, it was too hard to follow, I lacked a lot of vocabulary. The teacher was an old widow who lives alone, Marriete, who loved to talk a lot about herself as any old lady, and didn't let us talk a lot, she followed the program but she was too fast, did't explain grammar clear enough, when saying us to write something down wasn't patient enough to reapeat it if we didn't hear it, although she said it not clear enough. When we are doing practice she doesn't write the right answers on the board, so when there is something new we don't know what is the right answer. She is very rude, tends to insult students in class. I come from Serbia, and she told me that she would never come to Serbia because according to her opinion Serbia has nothing to offer and not only that, she told me more than one insult. Not only me but also to other students, one day she was shouting at some girl because she doesn't speak German clear enough and many, many other insults. I totaly wasted my time and money(500€ for month) in this school, spent 2 months and barely made any progress. I wish you, who read this review don't make the same mistake. I heared about Volkshochschule when I arrived in Germany, when it was too late, they offer the same amount of classes monthly but for around 300€, and B1 level lasst 2,5 month. I wish I knew it before I wasted my time and money at Evolanguage :( And this is not only my opinion, all the students i spoke to about this issue from my group shared my opinion. read more
