When I first began, I couldn't imagine how far I would come in such a short time! In the past I took lessons with teachers who used very traditional methods, but their techniques resulted in my memorizing a lot of songs but never knowing how songs work and not progressing very far. With Greg, I learned the mechanics of songs and chords from the inside out and now I am writing my own music! His techniques, coupled with his intriguing stories and endless patience have made the learning process fun and enjoyable. Right from the beginning we jumped into theory and started mastering the building blocks that would later be applied to all types of music across all genres. Now when my friends ask me to play something on the piano, I can confidently choose from a wide repertoire of songs I know, or even play the songs I wrote. And if my friends wanted to know why the chords work so well together to make such a great song, I could explain that to them too!-- all thanks to the way Greg has taught me. He was very patient and did not rush me at all. I was indifferent about ordering an expensive guitar out of state that I hadn't seen or played. To confirm the appearance of the website photos, Scott also sent photos from his own phone. We agreed on a competitive price including shipping. Before shipping, I also spoke to the guitar tech, Dave. We discussed the setup and action. He changed strings, polished the frets, treated the fingerboard and lowered the action. Both Scott and Dave were very friendly and professional throughout the sales process. The guitar showed up a day early, well packed and in perfect condition. Not a single scratch or blemish. It's a beautiful instrument and exactly as described on the RCMC site. Incredibly build quality. Next level compared to my Gibson SG Standard '61. It plays great and sounds fantastic. It's definitely a keeper and a perfect compliment to my Gibson. I wouldn't hesitate to work with Scott and Dave again. They support an honest shop of high integrity. Among my many concerns, my daughter got locked in a lower level bathroom and no one could hear her asking for help to get out (she eventually crawled under the stall and got herself out). I reached out to Josh Grekin, their director, immediately and withdrew registration for the remaining two weeks. I listed multiple reasons why his staff was negligent. He apologized and said he was glad to know this to train his staff better for next time. I am completely unsatisfied with this response. I have asked for a refund multiple times and I haven't heard anything back. I am a very unsatisfied customer and this lack of response has been infuriating. At least tell me that you have a no refund policy or something? I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau to voice my complaints there and hopefully get my $400 back.

Seems like no matter what time of day I call, the mailbox is always full and can't leave any messages. There is no identification as to what their hours of operation are. This is very lame and poor customer service. Luckily, I was able to get a refund from Groupon.

So there is a weekly private lesson and then there's a weekend band practice this incentivizes students to practice more, because they don't want to let down their band members. At the end of each session, they all do a live performance together. I was impressed at the final performance by how many adults had joined bands in this way. They seemed so joyful. I would definitely recommend this place. If you are looking for guitar, keyboard, drum, or vocal lessons.

While I'm not an artsy person, I did have a good time. Walking in, the studio is clean and well organized. Plenty of tables to sit at and they provide tools to work with depending on the size of your group. I'm sure you could go at it alone, but I'm not 100% sure. After a bit of socializing, we eventually sat down and one of the owners went through the glass making process and how things work. She also went over the tools and how to use them. She also told us about how certain colors, depending on how you layer them, may not show up. This way we can make a project that comes out just the way we like! The instructions went on for about 40 minutes but it seemed like there was some ground to cover, which I understand. I didn't take terribly long to assemble my project which ended up being a glass flower on a sun catcher thing. Their prices start at $35 for a sun catcher or a night light. They have huge dishes you can make for $120 and several other sizes of projects in between. You have to leave the project for them to fire it in their glass kiln and they'll text you when it's done. Overall, it was a great experience. I wouldn't recommend it for kids (to advanced and working with tools) but for adult birthday parties, get togethers or any setting really.
