But the cost of a Harley Davidson is so high, that i'd be amazed if very many people in the Philippines actually own one plus on top of that, this is an area that I would never even consider riding a motorcycle in, as it is very dangerous even if you are in a car. The traffic laws and the way that the locals drive, is just beyond comprehension (in a bad way) but it was nice store and it had a decent stock of items that are pretty much typical Harley-Davidson trademark trinkets and apparel.

I found really good ones but they were in Quezon city, a bit far from me. Fortunately, I found one that was just a few minutes away. I found out that R.O.X., a one stop shop for anything outdoors, had Rock Climbing facilities. What's great is that their shop is in the heart of the city: The Fort, and they are just in Bonifacio High St. They're literally inside a mall. How convenient! So I skedaddled to their Rock Climbing facility and signed up for a class. The thing was, there are no classes. There's just a quick briefing about the activity, plus a few tips. A few warnings and advices later, I found myself with a harness, a wall to climb, and zero experience. The coaches were very friendly and supportive. They guided me at the start and when I got the hang of it, I just found myself at the top of the wall tired and sweay. When I was done, I had climbed three walls; one easy, one intermediate, and one difficult. The learning curve for rock climbing isn't that steep. All I needed was myself, the desire to learn, and I had fun with it. Rock Climibng was a bit challenging but it was a very awesome experience for me. I really had fun traversing the walls with just my arms, legs, and a harness for safety. It's a bit expensive though, but a good price for this kind of activity (considering that the coaches also help you if you're a beginner). You might spot famous rock climbers in this place! When I went there, I had the privilege of seeing one of the female Filipinos who climbed Mt. Everest. And yes, I was very intimidated and honored at the same time.

When we were still living abroad and would go back to the Philippines for a vacation, no trip is complete without a visit to Titan and copping a few pairs. And hubby and his fellow south ballers must have prayed so hard because just last year, Titan opened up a big store in Alabang. Aside from the wide selection of basketball shoes (it doesn't matter if you're a Kobe, Jordan or Lebron fan), Titan also sells top of the line baller apparel and accessories. Their flagship store in BGC has a barber shop (we have yet to try that out), while this one in Alabang houses the TitanxLGR design studio, a place where athletes can order customized jerseys. Hubby's basketball team in the office ordered their uniforms there and one time I accompanied him to pick them up. These jerseys are quite pricey in my opinion (1,800 for a pair of uniform), but hubby said they're really comfy to wear, and it's very durable. It's this new place at Robinson's Place Las Pinas. It's a shorter commute and despite the size of their store, they actually have a good stock of shoes in their inventory. I was looking through their stuff and found myself astounded that they even have shoes that I didn't find in other bigger and better established malls in the northern part of Metro Manila. If you're looking for sporting goods and you're near Robinson's Place, I strongly recommend giving this place a try.
