She met us on a potentially rainy day at a beautiful park and managed to keep us, introverted as we are, from feeling awkward while posing for photos. She encouraged us to be ourselves while also offering us guidance, and she was able to capture our relationship beautifully. And she sent us over 100 photos. Her turn-around time for photos really impressed us, and she had beautifully edited all of them in a way that looked very natural and retained the natural beauty of the surroundings as well as keeping us looking like ourselves. We were delighted with all the photos and with her friendly but bold, easy-going personality which made it so easy to spend an afternoon in the park with her, despite having barely met. Note: Allison is currently located in Olympia but is willing to travel for clients. She came to Seattle for our engagement photos and plans to do the same for our wedding next month.

His eye for photography is second to none. Fred started off with the most amazing consultation over coffee asking about our personalities and our wedding. The week before our engagement session he called and talked about great ideas to wear to make the most of the venues we chose and followed up the day before making sure we had no questions or concerns. The day of our pictures his attention to detail astonished me. He had us moving most the time and captured the moments that we had instead of just posing. Our album we got had nothing but rave reviews from friends and family and I cannot wait till our wedding to see the amazing things that will come from his camera!!! I am so happy for the recommendation we got and will OLNY recommend Fred for pictures of any sort. He has a customer for life.

Without torturing our friends and family we went in search of a photographer that would take "real life" photos. Then we found Tonya Todd Photography. Our kids took to her immediately, she is very easy going and friendly! She has a very unique style with her photography which is very laid back and not posed. Having two kids, I know it is not easy catching a good shot at the right moment. (At least for me!) We ended up with some great candid shots of both our children and of us too. We have now used her a couple of times and have referred her out to family and friends for weddings and family portraits. They have all been extremely happy with her work. As for pricing, I have found her to be more reasonable than other photographers in the area. But for us, we can be assured quality photos to share with our family and friends. Give her a try or check out her website.
