She met us on a potentially rainy day at a beautiful park and managed to keep us, introverted as we are, from feeling awkward while posing for photos. She encouraged us to be ourselves while also offering us guidance, and she was able to capture our relationship beautifully. And she sent us over 100 photos. Her turn-around time for photos really impressed us, and she had beautifully edited all of them in a way that looked very natural and retained the natural beauty of the surroundings as well as keeping us looking like ourselves. We were delighted with all the photos and with her friendly but bold, easy-going personality which made it so easy to spend an afternoon in the park with her, despite having barely met. Note: Allison is currently located in Olympia but is willing to travel for clients. She came to Seattle for our engagement photos and plans to do the same for our wedding next month.

We spent a few days going back and forth discussing what went wrong with my color selections. In the end she edited the 2 white background photos to the grey color I preferred and she edited grey from all the others as well. Unfortunately it's been well over 2 years so the extra pics I wanted to go through have been long deleted but she offered to refund me for the extra prints I had paid for which I think is very fair.

My family swooned over the photos, and my sister especially appreciated how great you were to them both back in May. Before my sister gave birth back in May, she brought up the idea of having newborn photos done for her firstborn. Of course I scouted Yelp's pages thanks to other trustworthy Yelpers, Christina Mae was a top result. It also helped that she had an Instagram page, which solidified her as a top contender to reach out to. It honestly came down to communication - Tina was the most personable to correspond with, which is hard through email (I was arranging this gift from Vegas). The ease of payment was also very much appreciated (via PayPal) with the option to add more later, and her website's info on a variety of packages and prices was transparent. The same week my niece was born, my sister was able to contact Tina and schedule the newborn photo sessions within several days. Awesome flexibility. I distinctly remember my sister telling me how calming the setting was when she went for the photos, and she was definitely appreciative of that atmosphere considering how hectic things were for her beforehand. Within 1-2 weeks, my sister gets an electronic photo album to select her favorites from to purchase prints or downloads. We obviously loved all the photos she took! The quality of the photos were amazing! She captured my niece's sassy princess attitude that's been developing since then XD LOL. I should also note that our parents made my sister purchase additional photos outside of the initial gifted package amount. It's the excitement of my niece and the testament to the quality of Tina's work.

Without torturing our friends and family we went in search of a photographer that would take "real life" photos. Then we found Tonya Todd Photography. Our kids took to her immediately, she is very easy going and friendly! She has a very unique style with her photography which is very laid back and not posed. Having two kids, I know it is not easy catching a good shot at the right moment. (At least for me!) We ended up with some great candid shots of both our children and of us too. We have now used her a couple of times and have referred her out to family and friends for weddings and family portraits. They have all been extremely happy with her work. As for pricing, I have found her to be more reasonable than other photographers in the area. But for us, we can be assured quality photos to share with our family and friends. My husband and I have about 20 favorites of just us and that doesn't include the other amazing moments captured of friends and family. Our engagement shots were also gorgeous.
