What a gem! Evergreen not only has delicious coffee, but they also created a very beautiful space. The pandan latte was my favorite--it had such a a fresh fragrant flavor that doesn't taste like normal syrup, and the bourbon butterscotch latte was also pretty good. The menu is a bit on the pricier side, with the drinks being $6-$7 each, but when you read the sign in the bathroom and see how they support local, make their own syrups, and more, it makes sense. The French toast muffin was a cute idea and was tasty albeit a bit firm from sitting out. The rest of their food and pastries also looked very appealing. The inside was beautifully decorated, with a decent amount of seating and outlets. There is both inside and outdoor seating. It was a bit busy on Saturday, but we were still able to get seats. We have been wanting to try this place for awhile and since we were on this side of town, we finally got to try it! I'm a sucker for Asian inspired coffees and I'm a huge pandan and matcha lover so when I saw these flavors being offered here, we had to try it! This coffee shop is small, but cozy. The decorations are so cute and the baristas were really nice too! We were greeted right away. I had a hard time choosing between wanting uji matcha or a pandan latte. Barista recommended the pandan since I told her I love pandan and it was so good! My boyfriend ordered maple bourbon latte and it was well flavored too. Today I went to Evergreen Coffee for the first time. I met a friend and we had a great time. It is located on Valle Verde just off of the exit from the I-215. The venue is a tad small but we arrived just in time to snag a table. While we were there it started to get packed, which must be a sign that it is quite popular. They have about 6 tables I believe, and a cute little lounge area complete with a couch, table and extra chairs. They also had a bookshelf with books to enjoy if you like. The vibe was quiet, with many people working on laptops, or reading books with headphones on. A nice place to enjoy some peace and quiet, a good book, and some good treats. My friend and I both ordered the chili crisp cheddar bagel, and she opted to add herb cream cheese and smoked salmon. We both enjoyed the bagels very much. They were soft, perfectly toasted and very tasty! I had a mocha latte and she enjoyed an iced signature cocktail, bourbon something I think. All of the snacks on display looked delicious and I am pretty sure everything was freshly made. They boast using local vendors and being environmentally friendly which we appreciated. The cashier was pleasant and explained everything to us as first timers. Restrooms were clean as was the dining room. For our 2 drinks and 2 bagels, the price was around $40 total which I guess these days is not too bad. I will definitely return to try the rest of the menu. Thanks, Evergeen! read more

I was visiting Vegas and in need of a matcha on the way to Hoover Dam and found this cute place on Yelp. Parking is abundant and it's easy to see from the main street, and is also right off the freeway. It was packed when I came in but luckily one comfy seat was open by the bookcases. I ordered an iced matcha latte with almond milk and pandan syrup and a matcha cookie. My dad ordered a hot vanilla cappuccino and chili cheddar bagel. Iced matcha latte: 6/10 it was good quality matcha but wasn't whisked very fine so it was a bit grainy. Almond milk (Kirkland brand) was creamy. Pandan syrup wasn't strong, but I think they just didn't put enough. If you order it ask for extra syrup. I usually get light syrup/sweetness but for this shop I'd definitely recommend additional syrup. I added splenda and it seemed to bring out the pandan flavor a bit more and it was really nice, so I think if there was more syrup added it'd be super good. matcha cookie: 10/10 absolutely amazing!! It was filled with almond paste and was perfectly sweet with a strong matcha taste and crunchy almonds on top. hot cappuccino: My dad said it was the best cappuccino he's ever had. chili cheddar bagel (not pictured): 10/10 insane. One of the best, most unique bagels I've ever tried. It was perfectly savory, slightly sweet, and spicy. The dough itself was chewy and not hard at all like some bagels can be sometimes. Overall loved the place, I think next time I'd order a coffee instead of matcha though or ask for it to be whisked a bit more. My dad loved everything. He lives in Florida but frequently visits Las Vegas and actually said he's going to plan to stop here every time he comes to visit now. Also there's 2 nice bathrooms with free feminine products which is very rare to see. There's a good amount of seating and if you plan to stay they can serve your drinks in glasses and mugs. Food Evergreen offers a variety of drinks as well as homemade pastries. Flavor add-ins and different types of milk cost additional money, but are reasonable. The pastries all look visually appealing and make it hard to choose. I went with a Mocha Americano and a French Toast Muffin. The drink was delicious with the coffee being the standout. The muffin was also pretty good. 5/5 Service Like many coffee shops, you go to the counter and order. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. This is one of my girlfriend's favorite coffee shops so it has naturally became one of mine too. I've been here a few times now and have been impressed with the consistent quality of their drinks and baked goods. In a recent visit, my girlfriend and I both ordered an iced peppermint mocha which were both so rich and minty. We shared a breakfast sando which had egg salad, a sausage patty, and cheese on their soft house made bread; the quality of all their ingredients was definitely noticed. In a previous visit, we also had bibingka (a Filipino dessert) as it was one of their baked goods on rotation and it was such a yummy taste of home; slightly sweet with the perfect chewy texture and wrapped in a banana leaf with a pat of butter on too. I ordered the "Uji Matcha" which is a true Japanese Matcha, very delicious and flavorful bold matcha flavor which is what i love. I've passed by this place many times, and I'm so glad I finally stopped in for a quick bite and drink. The staff were warm, welcoming, and informative, and it was easy to see why the shop was filled with so many customers. I was able to visit this small, intimate coffee shop over the holidays and I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. Although I don't drink a lot of coffee, I did enjoy trying their ceremonial Matcha. There were four of us and we arrived late morning. We grabbed a table and then each of us took turns ordering at the counter. Service is helpful and kind. The vibe is here is very laid back and relaxing. While perusing their menu to decide what to order, I noticed they have written the Evergreen Ethos which is about coming together and crafting a thriving community through coffee. This business provides fair wages to their team members amongst other perks, and they pride themselves on practicing human, social, economic and environmental sustainability. Yes!!! The menu offers light bites, hearty bites, espresso, coffee, signature drinks, seasonal drinks, tea and other non-coffee drinks. I decided to order the Uji Matcha - the highest grade of pure, unsweetened ceremonial matcha from Uji, Kyoto, Japan. This is the birthplace of matcha. For a light bite, I went with the Green Toast. This was served on local artisanal sourdough, avocado, goddess pesto, lemon zest, and sesame seeds. The toast was perfectly balanced in flavor and the goddess pesto was divine. The Uji Matcha was on a whole different level in terms of taste. It was very smooth no bitterness. Earthy yet notes of sweetness. I was extremely pleased and definitely one of the best Matcha drinks I have enjoyed. They offer free high speed WIFI, games, bag hooks, multiple outlets, a cute little library should you forget something to read, and you can even use their charging cables if you left them behind. They are located in Green Valley right off the 215 freeway at Valle Verde Drive. As you exit look to your right and you will see the exterior of the coffee shop. I ended up here through Too Good to Go, which I love that this place participates in! It allowed me to get some pastries, but while there, I desperately needed coffee. When I walked in, I was blown away by how busy it was for being 1:30 pm and they closed at 2 pm. It's a bit small, but there's a good amount of tables and seating for people to hang out and work. The staff was very nice and super helpful when I had questions! I ended up ordering an iced orange latte, a tiramisu cookie, apple turnover, and honey toast (food was part of my Too Good to Go order). The latte was very good, but what hooked me was the honey toast! I've never had honey toast before, but it looked really good, and it absolutely did not disappoint! I had the turnover the next day, and it was just as tasty! The tiramisu cookie was also pretty good, but the honey toast had everything beat. I asked what they would recommend between the orange latte and the boubon butterscotch flavor and settled with orange, but I will definitely try the other flavor another time. Really cute place, super friendly staff, and they do their part to help the environment. This is a great little coffee shop to support, and it seems to be hopping with remote workers! It is an Asian woman owned cafe with an inviting and calm vibe. The owner, Lovely, calls it a neighborhood cafe and I see why. The complexion of the customers are so wide ranging. From kids that went with their parents to young professionals on their zoom calls to elders hanging around, all neighbors are welcomed. They also have board games and books available for your enjoyment. I am truly ecstatic to try more of their drinks. The matcha latte I got here was the best I've had. The matcha is sourced responsibly from local tea farmers in Japan. Such great vibes all around & amazing service. I saw their summer menu & was immediately intrigued with their GOCHUJANG MOCHA! & of course needed something to eat. It was closer to lunch so I went with their burrata bruschetta toast! -Gochujang mocha: deliciously roasted mocha with a hint of spice & salt! The Korean paste was not too overwhelming & complimented the chocolate of the mocha. - Bruschetta: beautifully bright! The tomatoes were so fresh, the chili oil added a kick, & omg the burrata is made from grass fed bison milk! It was SO CREAMY! Both the prosciutto & burrata were from Cured & Whey. I was able to chat with the owner who explained their vision & Ethos to me - to take a proactive approach to leave the world better than we left it. Outstanding. They empower their staff & treat them well, use 12 local vendors, compost, & never waste their food. They create small batches of baked good to ensure majority of it is sold throughout the day & no left overs are ever thrown away. Could not POSSIBLY find good enough things to say about this shop. It's everything you want a local coffee shop to be. The owner is involved, you see her very consistently working with her team, they have a great feel to the shop as soon as you come in and you absolutely get the sense that everything here is hand made. Their drinks are so unique, and always fun to cycle through and find what's new (I'm SO biased and am obsessed with their horchata latte PLEASE give it a try) and my favorite FAVORITE thing is that they have special hand made treats that they make exclusively on the weekend, and they have never NOT been an absolute hit. I tend to get more than one sometimes to share one with a friend of mine and brighten others weekends with these DELICIOUS creations. I did enjoy my drink this time, but with it being a tiny 12oz cup it was finished within 5 minutes. A few friends and I had ordered iced matcha lattes with berry chantilly syrup the last time I had come and none of us enjoyed our drinks or were able to taste the matcha. The houjicha latte with mediocre as well. Shouldn't have to ask for double matcha or houjicha to be able to taste it when already paying over $10 for a 12oz cup. Don't think I will be returning. This is a small cute cafe with ample seating and WiFi so it's great for dates, a little study session, etc. You can definitely tell there is quality to the drinks and food here. Not many cafes do matcha right, but Evergreen does! The selection of more than one type of matcha was already a good sign. I got a matcha einspanner with oatmilk which came out to be $10 (!!) a bit expensive for what I'm used to but at least it was good matcha. The breakfast sando was also delicious. Decided to get out of my house and do some work in a coffee shop I haven't been to in a bit so headed to Evergreen Coffee. This place is so cute and is located on Valle Verde, in the same shopping center as Kohls. Inside, they have a lot of different seating options, and most importantly, the wifi is fantastic and fast, which I love. They also have outlets all along the walls, so you can easily plug in and charge up and stay here all morning. The ambiance is also amazing. They play relaxing music without words, which I love. Helps me focus. Another big thing for me is when coffee shops don't serve food, but this place has some delicious toast. I ordered the salmon toast last time I was here, but this time, I opted for the regular avocado toast. It was sooo tasty. They give you a lemon which definitely adds to the flavor. And the bread they use is from a local baker. Love that! They brought it out to me and everything, which was great! I also ordered an iced vanilla latte, which was also refreshing. I got it for here, and they put it in a glass for me. Love that, and seems so much less wasteful. Speaking of wasteful, they are a sustainability focused coffee shop, which I loooove.
