They said they would help with insurance billing so I ask them to contact my insurance in advance of the appt To determine what was covered and they did not. I ended up not getting my wisdom tooth pulled because my dentist referred the wrong tooth and I have to have another visit with him. aocs would not refund my 100 deposit or give me credit for a future visit. I will need the service once I straighten out the orders, but I will not go back there. I want a dr. Who is patient focused and not just money focused.

However, after receiving an x-ray and cleaning, I was unexpectedly charged $100 at checkout. When I questioned this, I was then told that my insurance was actually out-of-network. To make matters worse, a couple of months later I received an additional bill for $236 because my insurance did not cover the services due to being out-of-network. This was extremely frustrating and could have been completely avoided had I been given accurate information from the start. While I did enjoy the staff who performed my cleaning and x-ray, the overall experience was overshadowed by the misinformation and unexpected costs. I feel misled and ended up paying hundreds of dollars for services that could have been fully covered at an in-network provider. Because of this experience, I will not be returning and would not recommend any Wilson Martino location in West Virginia.

Scheduled with this office back in August for January appointment. They canceled two days and…read morerescheduled all the way to March. Just to call and cancel days before the March appointment. I called to once again reschedule for three days following. They did not answer and never returned my voicemails. Not only is their reception clearly unprofessional but the disregard by the entire team to just toss appointments around and cancels whenever if a joke. They also will listen to your concerns and just refer you to a specialist that will find out you had no issues that Aspen believed you did and charge you an extra $400 just for going. I could probably receive better dental care from the nail Salon beside them.

They told me at the second appointment, never tried to reach out to me before the appointment to inform me of the issue. The only good part was the assistant, she was kind and understanding. I also tried to get back in for the dentist to look at my messed up filling and was told they didn't have a hygienist. I told them I wanted the doctor to fix it, not a hygienist and they tried to send me to Bridgeport. They made me even more afraid of the dentist. Go to Morgantown Dental. They care and know what they are doing. ALSO they are willing to communicate to you and don't make you feel unhygienic for having bad teeth.

It goes both ways - the patient's time is just as important as the doctor's. Get rid of the holier than thou attitide and be a better representative for your boss. Update - after I wrote this, my husband told me he called back because he was so ticked by the interaction. This unprofessional person had the nerve to tell him I was rude to her. He told her she was a f-ing liar because he was sitting right next to me. I also looked at previous reviews and comments and it seems this person needs to get out of customer service. I'm also glad we didn't proceed because it looks like from other comments that the receptionist is getting customer service training from the doctor. Look at other rating platforms too- avoid this place! We also told the dentist who referred us.

It only lasted 2 years and when I called to see what.could be done I was told by the rude receptionist that the dentist who placed the crown was no longer with their practice and (by the way) we don't accept your insurance any more and you owe us 300 bucks). They never sent me a bill and I paid in excess of 1000 bucks plus what my insurance paid. They are overpriced and do not try to help when things go wrong!! Better dentists out there by far!!
