This was my second time Nepalese food and it was fantastic! The restaurant is hidden in a small strip mall. I loved the chicken momo, which came in a peanutty sauce and was a large portion. The thali platter allows you to try multiple dishes at once. The waiter was happy to explain the menu to us and the food came out fast as well.

Read a review of Everest Restaurant and Bar and saw they served Nepali, Indian, and Bhutanese cuisines. I've never had Nepali food and looked forward to learning how different it was from Indian foods. My server Sushmita took my drink order, and I wanted to try a Gorkha Beer from Nepal. Sadly, they were out of Gorkha so I went with Taj Mahal beer from India...a very good lager. I wanted to try a variety of different items and informed Sushmita my spice level was mild, so I ordered the following: Chicken Momo JHOL. I'm still not sure if this is a soup or a dumpling stew. The Momo are pretty big, and there were eight of them in this dish. I would rank this "soup" as one of the best soups I've ever enjoyed and would order this again and make this my meal! The Lamb Thali is a platter made up of several different dishes which are supposed to create a balanced meal. I cannot remember what Sushmita called each little cup of food or sauce on the tray but the lamb was to be eaten with one, two, or many of the side sauces or garnishments. The lamb was slightly overcooked but wasn't tough and overall this was still a good dish and an experience in itself. I did figure out the small round ball is the dessert item called Gulab Jamun...OMG it was rich, sweet, and delicious. The place is not much to look at on the inside but it is clean, and while Sushmita and I may have experienced some communication issues, she took great care of me. There are a few more interesting noodle dishes here I would love to try on my next visit.

I had lunch at Everest with a friend, and we both really enjoyed our meal! Everest serves a mix of Nepali, Indian, and Bhutanese dishes, and the menu is pretty large - with something for everyone but the pickiest eaters, I'd imagine! During COVID (at least as of April 2021), Everest is doing dine in, takeout, and delivery. They do not have any outside seating. We ate in (which I haven't done much of during COVID), but when we arrived around 12 on a Tuesday, we were the only party seated (one family did arrive during our meal), so it felt fine to me. Servers wore masks, as we did we. They also had a hand sanitizer stand near the entrance. I ordered the chicken momos jhol style. Momos are Nepali dumplings (which I have grown to love over the past couple of years since finding more Nepali restaurants). You can usually get chicken, pork, beef, or veggie (and sometimes even lamb or other options). Everest offers chicken, pork, or veg momos. Then you choose the style you prefer: steamed, fried, jhol, or chili. Steamed and fried are what you would expect. Jhol momo refers to momos served in a broth of hot chutney/broth/sauce. Chili refers to momo stir fried with chilies. The jhol style chicken momos were excellent! I loved the chutney/broth - Everest's version was very peanut-y, so it tasted like dumplings in a peanut curry soup, which was wonderful. My friend had steamed vegetable momos, which she liked as well. For my main, I got the vegetable thukpa. Thukpa is a noodle soup, and I really enjoyed this as well. The broth was flavorful, the noodles great, and there were so many veggies in my bowl (mushrooms, baby bok choy, broccoli, etc.). It was served with a little chili sauce on the side for some heat if I wanted (I did) and a wedge of lime for some acid (always appreciated in a soup/broth in my mind!). My friend's main was their chicken biryani, which she - you guessed it! - enjoyed as well. The service was very good. The menu has a lot of explanation about what dishes are in case you aren't very familiar with the cuisines they serve, which is great. All in all, it was a great meal, and I would love to go back to try some of the Bhutanese dishes on the menu (I've never had Bhutanese food before)! Check it out!

This place is an awesome find! I've never had Nepalese food before. The restaurant seems small from the outside but inside I was so surprised by how spacious it is. There's a small stage for live music. The diners were placed apart. The staff was super friendly and helpful in explaining the dishes. They are also very accommodating on the spice level. We ordered veggie momo which was huge cabbage dumplings it has a different flavor from other dumplings I've had. It's big dumplings and big fillings. The sauce was peanut-based and it was delicious. I'm going to try the corn next time. We also ordered the chicken biryani it was perfectly spicy. The chicken was flavorful and it seems like it was marinated it was delicious. My GF ordered the aloo curry which was bland I thought it was my taste but she didn't really taste any other flavor. I come with a small cucumbers tomatoes salad. The star for me was the wings nice crispy delicious wings! The sauce was an awesome compliment for these wings. My only complaint is it was a little too greasy for me I think they started cooking the wings before the oil got hot. Overall I'm pleased with our food and services. I can't wait to go back and try the other dishes!

This was a really neat experience. Soccer was playing, I was the only one dining there for lunch, and they came out to enjoy it with me. This is one of the reasons why I love small local businesses and I hope they do well for their dinner hours. The prices are a couple dollars more than their current Yelp menu listing, but the portions are generous. Sorry I didn't take menu photos, too hungry. Chicken Momo Chili - This came out still crackling which I thought was awesome. Not so awesome when it stopped crackling and I tried to eat one and the temperature of it made my eyes water. Haha, so the sweet spot seemed to be about 12 minutes after it came out to me, then it was still hot but cool enough to eat. It was seasoned well, medium spice, mixed with veggies, and had a nice crispiness to it. Pork Momo Jhol - This was a bit spicier than the Chili style but I still wouldn't call it hot. These dumplings came in a flavorful soup/broth and I used it to dip some of my Garlic Naan in as well. My favorite? That's a hard choice but I'm going to say the Chili style. There were about 10 of each and I have to say about 20 was quite a bit for one person to eat. It's hard to order just one thing but I'd recommend something small like the Garlic Naan if you're going to get a momo dish as well. Or take some away for later or bring a dining companion! The Mango Lassi had a bit more of a mango flavor to it than the one I had at my last Nepalese Restaurant in Colorado, still delicious enough for me to want 2, just mentioning because it was a difference. Parking is plentiful, you can park by the side door (which they're using as their main entrance now) or you can park in the huge shared parking out front. You should come here!

Delicious! Great Spot For Tasty Food! This is one of those you would never find it if it wasn't referred to you by someone or Yelp. It's back in the corner of a strip of businesses. The food is pretty awesome! This will be one of our new go to spots when we are in this area. Chicken Chili Dumplings were pretty awesome here. Full of flavor! The service is super friendly and great. Looks like they have a little stage for live music here as well as a bar too. Parking is pretty easy.

Great restaurant, only had the pleasure to stop by once. Ordered the veggies momos, it was sautéed with some spicy sauce and vegetables such as broccoli, bell peppers, onion. It was delicious and just what I was craving.

I'm in town visiting a friend and we were trying to decide what all we were going to do. I had the thought: gee can we get some momos? I really love them and there are no places currently in my city that make them. We went a little crazy because we ordered hungry but man was it good. Covid didn't affect us here, it was pretty slow (just how I like it these days). We started off with some veggie samosa, three plates of momo's Chile veggie, pork johla and steamed chicken. We also had an order of puri (which is amazing). I followed everything up with a mango lasi. The chicken momos were a little different to me. They had some seasoning that stood out to me, they weren't bad but different. Not my favorite but we gobbled them up anyways. The pork johla was delicious, usually my favorite I wasn't too surprised. Then they brought out the veggie ones Chile style. Never thought I would pick veggie over pork (I like meat) but dang these were good. Definitely give these a try. 11/10 would do again. You should definitely pop in sometime!

We were interested in trying something new and we found it. Everest had great reviews and after our experience, we can see why. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, the staff was super nice and helpful with helping us choose dishes. Speaking of- the pork jhol mo-mos were AMAZING. We absolutely loved them. I got the butter chicken- which was creamy and delicious. My husband got the mutton thali, and he was impressed. We plan on returning without a doubt.

Outstanding and authentic Nepali and Himalayan foods. It's all about the momo's! Very friendly staff.. ask them for suggestions!

Rajdhani is Nepali food, which none of us had ever tried - but we all love Indian food and Nepali food had some similar flavors and dishes. We started with two orders of momo (Nepali dumplings). We had a vegetarian party in our party, so we got one order of the vegetable momo and one order of the chicken momo. To be honest, I was more excited about the chicken momo, but the vegetable momo BLEW ME AWAY. The chicken was okay (a little dry and not as flavorful as the vegetable), but the vegetable was amazing. (The chicken was still worth ordering, but it needed a bit of the sauce to make it more delicious, and the vegetable momo didn't need anything at all.) Then we shared a bunch of dishes family style: chicken curry, aalu govi (potato, cauliflower, and spices - aloo gobi in Indian cuisine), a vegetarian thali (a dish of many small dishes, which included a daal, eggplant, okra, and other veg dishes), chicken curry, Chicken Tikka Masala, and paneer chili. Everything was good, but my favorites were the Chicken Tikka Masala, the paneer chili, and the okra from the veg thali. Rajdhani is a grocery store and cafe. The cafe is to the back of the grocery store. The service was good, and our server answered all the questions we had about the menu. We finished ALL of our plates. Every little bite of food was eaten. We didn't leave hungry, that's for sure! Rajdhani isn't a fancy place. But as an introduction to Nepali food? It's a winner. I definitely plan on going back and trying more Nepali food if the opportunity arrives! If you like to explore the international cuisine available in Nashville's Nolensville corridor, add Rajdhani to your list! Well worth the hike out to Nolensville and Bell Road (admittedly not so much of a hike for this Crieve Hall girl). Two thumbs up!

We ordered family-style, and every dish that hit the table was vibrant, aromatic, and made with love. The tandoori chicken was simple yet so comforting, it arrived in a sizzling skillet adding a hint of flare in the presentation. Each chicken piece was beautifully charred, and coated in a bold, smoky marinade. The curries were so rich and each one had its own personality. The creamy yellow curry from the Chicken Korma was very rich in flavor while the saagwala was earthy, well-seasoned, and not over-puréed. Personally my favorite was the chicken korma the curry sauce was just on another level, I highly recommend this dish. The lamb biryani was another highlight with fragrant basmati rice and huge chunks of lamb generously garnished with fresh cilantro. Bread lovers be warned! The naan was hot, fluffy, and perfect for scooping up sauces. We also tried the aloo tikki as an appetizer and they were crisp on the outside yet so soft inside. Surprisingly there was another family that were seated before us even though we only arrived maybe 5-10 minutes after they opened. That was a good sign to me that maybe they're a decent spot. Our server (forgot his name) was very attentive and made sure to come and check on us often. Although, I will say it was a little difficult to understand what he was saying at times since he had a thick accent. But we managed. The food was definitely 5 star for us. My husband and I ordered the vegetable samosas, chicken tiki masala and garlic naan to share for our dinner. Everything was delicious and piping hot from the kitchen. We got medium spice on our curry and it had just the right amount of kick to it. The only negative I will mention is that it was pretty warm in the restaurant. But that may be because we arrived almost right as they opened so maybe the AC was still kicking in. Other than that everything else during our experience, food and service, was five star! Will definitely be back for more!

This was my first time ever going to this restaurant and the people were nice, but not friendly. Here's what I mean, they smiled and were nice, not rude, but they weren't like trying to be helpful. For instance, I had no plate, fork, napkins, at my table, and our server didn't bring me one. So, one of the people I was with, grabbed a clean plate, napkin, and fork from another table (they're randomly on different tables) so I could have one. We were never asked if we needed a refill of our drinks or if we needed anything. It was a very hands off experience. I ordered a water and a sprite, never got a straw for both, so had to switch between the drinks. So, again, nice, but not friendly. The food wasn't the best. It was a group of 3 of us. 2 got the buffet, I personally ordered the Lamb Rogan Josh. The buffet didn't really have great options and the naan bread was just sitting out, so it wasn't nice and fresh. The food was decent, but it wasn't great. It was lacking in salt and surprisingly my meal was lacking in seasoning. I know. I know. Crazy right!? Indian food is never under-seasoned, but here we are. It honestly just tasted like spicy yogurt. Heat. Pepper. Not really the same as seasoned. The heat level , but the seasoned level ehhh. I took it to go and it got better the next day with some salt and covered in mint and tamarind sauce. Now, the meat samosas on the other hand, they were good. They needed a little salt, but they tasted pretty good. I mean I honestly have no complaints with them. They were nice and big. Crunchy. Seasoned pretty well. Overall 8/10 appetizer. No complaints from me on it. The other two enjoyed the biryani and bhatura ( soft fried fluffy bread) they had at the buffet. Those were the two things that stood out to them most. The restaurant is fairly dark and has a chill vibe where you just pick your own seats, which I really didn't have a problem with. My one complaint was the rips in some of the seats. It was a bit uncomfortable to sit on, but nothing that really destroyed your visit. It was more just like a "aww, man, that's annoying..." and then move on type of thing. Every once in a while I'd look down, see the big piece of tape and then have to reshift myself, but other than that, no big deal. Maybe I'll give them another try in the future because it was off being it was random in the middle of a week day.

Surati had been on my radar for a long while so when I drove past, I knew that I had made my mind up. Despite it being a Friday night, it wasn't very busy. The inside is small but not so much that you'd have a claustrophobic attack. Parking is easy (thankfully; a rarity these days) so after walking in... I sorta stood there. I'm not new to small mom & pops but I didn't quite know how things worked here and rather than call out, I waited to be greeted. I would have to continue to wait. No wanting to stand in silence with a nearly empty dining room, I asked about the ordering process. Maybe the kitchen (and front of house) was busy with online orders? My service was standoffish at best. Normally I would have left but open hours on Friday night can fluctuate and I didn't want to start over in another queue (it was after 7). Had I eaten in, I would have gone for a dosa. Not knowing how that would travel, I opted for Szechuan fried rice (medium). I hadn't so much as ordered and sat in a booth to look at my phone to waste some time when I was told my food was ready. Either Surati has the fastest chefs in the city or my food was not made to order -- and I certainly didn't experience the 'extras' other Yelpers describe. Not wanting to get into it, I paid and left. I came home to a generous amount of well-seasoned biryani rice and vegetables with just enough heat to let you know you're alive but not so much as to wreck your mouth. I took the W.
