From there, Pauline was incredibly informative and booked me an appointment on the day I requested for a consult and lash appointment. When I arrived, I filled out a short form and then was taken to the back where there were 6 (maybe 8, my memory fails me) comfy chairs set up with a warm blanket on each one. The chairs are "lazy boy" style and recline back to offer a full, comfortable experience. If you have back problems, the chairs are great because your whole body feels incredibly supported. These chairs are 100x more comfy than sitting in a flatbed. I also felt my neck was really well supported -- super important since lash appointments usually take 1-3 hours from start to completion (depending on the type). Once I was settled in, Pauline asked me what I was looking to do (refill, new set, etc) as well as what length and curl I wanted. From there, she washed my lashes with soap and a eyeshadow brush! She let me know what she was doing every step of the way. My 2 hours appointment flew by and I'm pretty sure I even took a small nap. Overall, the place is clean, there's plenty of parking and is easy to find. Most importantly, Pauline takes great care in what she does and you can rest assured that your lashes are well taken care of here As a bonus, they have a 3 day warranty where you can get a free touch up if your lashes fall out prematurely. After a year of treatment, most of the hair went away but not completely. I stopped doing laser and switched my money (I had purchased a package) for a massage. Massages qualify for RMT and therefore receipts for medical insurance. But most of the people doing the massage are not RMT. You have to specifically request for one. I personally don't like the masseuses here as much. Most of them wear gloves which feel weird against the body when rubbed in oil. I also had to keep asking their RMT Rose to apply more pressure because it wasn't enough. The massages by the owner feel very creepy/feely. My sister and her boyfriend also get the same vibe. I also had a bad experience where the management charged me for service that hadn't been rendered. I had to argue for an hour and still left feeling like I was wrong (but I know I wasn't).

Since it was the first one, I thought that probably I would have to fill in some forms and I decided to arrive earlier at 5:15pm. When I arrived, the office was closed with a post-it on the door mentioning "I will come back at 5:45pm". I thought it was weird if my appointment was at 5:30pm but I decided to wait. The office is at the second floor on a building with no AC at the hallways and I did have a face mask so it was very annoying due to the hot. Then, at 5:40pm another client came and told me she did have an appointment at 5:45pm. So, when I explained to her than I had been waiting for a while she called the owner and she told her we were both there. This customer told me that she preferred calling her because the first time she went there the same thing happened to her and the owner had completely forgotten about her appointment as well. When the owner came back, she didn't even bother to apologize and she just asked the other lady to go inside instead of me who at that point had been waiting for more than 30 minutes! When I asked her about my appointment, she just told me what I was explaining was "impossible" because she did book my appointment for 6pm and that she went out at 5:30pm (seriously?! When she had done the same to the same other client on her first appointment as well? And when I had been there since 5:15pm?). In few words, after all the wait she just implied I was lying about the time of my appointment, as well as all the time I had been waiting there and she didn't even apologize. Just told me that because I did have to fill in some forms (almost at 6pm), the other customer was going first. I was VERY frustrated so I decided to find another place to go.
