If I understand correctly ( which I may not) the federal government has eliminated the tax credit for the purchase of electric vehicles yet opportunities to charge these cars are abundant. I see a major contradiction here. My preference at the present time is that I would buy the most affordable car electric or gasoline powered. Incidentally, this EV charging station will service four cars simultaneously.

There are two connections here with the usual port. While the charging station is in the shade, there is absolutely nothing nearby to do while you're charging. No shopping, no restaurants, there isn't even a park nearby. There is no wifi from the building. When I stopped in, the pricing is $0.14 per kWh and the parking is free. The lot is about 2 miles from I-77 at Carowinds Blvd. It is in the middle of the parking lot so there is no shade. The instructions for using this charger are spelled out and simple. The only bit of missing information is how much it costs to use this thing. I took a close look and took pictures and didn't find anything indicating that little item. Because of the fact that I didn't see anyone using this charger and its ability to charge only one vehicle at a time, I must recommend it with caution.
