Europcar refused to give us our reserved car due to not having an IDP. Then they refused to refund our money. Instead of enjoying and exploring Galicia, we were stuck in one place and spent too much of our precious vacation time on the phone trying to get a refund.
The IDP requirement is NOT listed anywhere while making the reservation.
