Etude House is a popular Korean make up brand catered toward adolescents to young women in their early twenties. I found this cute little make up store on my second day in the Philippines. It looked a bit gimmicky, but I just couldn't resist the shabby chic decor. The moment I stepped in, I was greeted with "princess" which possibly heightened the impulse to purchase.
Needless to say, I managed to buy a few items and the sales girls where more than willing to help me choose and explain the functions of those items. They spoke English which was all well for me as I can't speak or understand the native language (actually, almost all the people I encountered in this little country could speak at least basic English so getting around isn't too difficult). The store was really clean and tidy, a bit small, but non-the-less charming. Though I haven't gotten the chance to try any of the items, the packaging leaves much to the imagination. I just hope the quality isn't as gimmicky as it looks.
Overall, I had an interesting experience with Etude House and would recommend it to any young lovelies who have an eye for pink and chic little things. read more
