She is knowledgeable and will always offer advise as to what you require or how to make something look better. But she will not force her ideas on to you. I find its always good to get a second opinion on work before its too late. The price's are very reasonable and the premises are very bright and clean. If anyone was thinking of having work done for the first time, or just adding to existing work, I can think of no better place than Bodyart Studios to have it done.

As a Londoner I have a lot of excellent tattooists on my doorstep, but I travelled up to Coventry to be tattooed by Joanne Baker at Grizzlys. Although it's not been long since she was an apprentice, Joanne is very professional and extremely talented. I know a lot of people who travel for her charming illustrative style and unique watercolour effects. Watercolour has become quite popular but Joanne somehow manages to get her splodges look just like drops of pretty pastel paint - and her colour palette is unusual, so her designs stand out from the crowd. I really can't recommend her highly enough.

( which i must say in my opinion is above and beyond what any others have done. ) others have had me draw them myself and tattoo'd that on me, complete with my own drawing mistakes. Apart from a selection of body jewellery, and the recent addition of micro dermal implants, Dolly Rockers is all about the piercings. By all accounts, they are extremely good at this - out of the many people I know who have been pierced there, I can't think of one that has a complaint about the service they received - the piercings always heal well, and are executed with minimum amount of pain. Prices are about average for this kind of thing, and the manner of the staff is great. In conclusion, if someone in Birmingham asked me where to go for a good piercing, I'd send them here.

Pricing for piercings is average, and they do offers now and again (although I know there have been a few occasions when offers have apparently ended but are still being advertised which is a bit naughty). In that case it usually comes down to discretion of the piercers. I've had several piercings done here, and for the majority of those I have experienced efficient service from skilled and professional piercers. I would recommend this place for clean, safe piercings performed well with the least amount of discomfort.

Its a great place they are very friendly and hygenic, when ever i have gone they have always given me some sort of discount, the studio is very clean, the waiting area is very pleasent you can choose which jewellery you want to have in your piercing whilst you are waiting to be seen. They also do tattoos and have a wide variety of pictures and patterns all over the waitng area walls. I believe the tongue piercing cost me £60 about 4 years ago now.

Their shop is located just opposite Iceland, opening times tend to be from 10-6 on most days. Inside, the shop is simply decorated with a desk and a couch at the front and a piercing and tattoo area at the back, both are separated with a black glossy wall reaching to your hips. I went in last week to get a double helix piercing and honestly, they were so helpful, the piercer i had made the two dots on my ear and was very calm when I kept changing my mind. She made sure to show me that the needles (they don't work with guns AT ALL) and the earrings were all brand new, the piercing procedure was straight forward, with it hurting more when the jewellery went in than the needle, all in all it was great, I received a sheet on piercing aftercare which I already knew but it was nice to be provided with the information, she made sure to let me know that I can come back in anytime if I need help and I could also call as well. They are fantastic and I would definitely consider going back there for any other piercings. At £15 each, it was a bargain, would recommend them to anyone I know
