As my fella says there is not much there why do you want to go back again Well one get in free as english heritage member and two it has such a nice atmosphere It was started in the 12 century It has an interesting history on audio tape which tells of the lives of the people of the castle. The castle fell to the scots before the battle of flodden and there is a good exhibit as well as a nice shop The best thing though is the train - there is a little steam train to get from the castle to the mill very sweet Pop into the village while you are there - it has athe only thached rood pub in northumberland and a nice little cafe read more
