"Cool Alternative Property with good quality jazz/blues/folk and you name it" I hope my review make justice to the beautiful and cool space that I am about to describe. Petropolis is a quaint Brazilian town with European flare and it screamed for the longest for a good music venue with a more eclectic style. Well, this place fits all. I was so happy to first see the beautiful property that the venue is in place. Huge property with Recording Music studios, that also is rented out for band's rehearsals. The room where the live music takes place is beautifully decorated and it has a rustic home feel to it. there's a large balcony with a seating area with a beautiful view. It was a Monday night and i couldn't believe the good quality of the band playing...they interacted with the public and the Bossa Nova jazz/Folk Jazz/Pop Jazz that I was listening made me dance all night...and that's how that involved a jazz lover that is more of a jazz listener and not a jazz dancer. The food is simple but delicious! I had to compliment the chef on a Ground Beef Empanada (Pastel de carne) that was out of this world. The wine selection is limited, but nice. There are other drinks for non-wine lovers. I highly recommend this place. It is a comforting, relaxing, and multi sensorial experience. read more
