I was able to park right away. The building is a shared space, so I had to ask where my docs new office was. Found it and waited several minutes. The window was closed and there was no movement behind it. I finally knocked. I was kinda treated like I wasn't expected. Even though I got 3 confirmation texts and a physical phone call. Gail , the receptionist comes hustling in at 12:55. I got the impression she didn't like being put straight to work. Also the phone was ringing. It was from a patient trying to call a physician in another office. 1:05- weight and blood pressure. Turns out I'm fat. With great blood pressure. This nurse was very nice. Doc Mendoza was finished with me before 1:30. She wants me to quit drinking. THEY ALL WANT ME TO QUIT DRINKING. Anyway- her bedside manner is pleasant. She addressed what she needed to, without being rude or condescending. As I was leaving, Gail was much more pleasant.

My uncle recently tried going here and they refused to see him as a patient…read more First, they asked which insurance he had (you know, because their money is far more important than the patients health). He told them Medicare. If doctors actually cared the first question would be what kind of problem are you experiencing? But, no, it's "what insurance do you have"? Then they asked which doctor he wanted to see. He told them one of the men I forget which one. They then told him that, sorry, only one of our doctors is accepting Medicare. Oh, that's brilliant. Why doesn't it say that on the list of insurance that you accept? Next to Medicare it should say Dr. So and so only. The rest are more concerned about their money than actually helping you which is why they don't accept Medicare because that cuts into their paycheck. Well, Medicare is all he has. He's disabled and on disability. Like millions of other people who worked all their lives this is all he has now and this place won't give him the time of day. Then they asked which medication he's already taking. He told them. They placed him on hold and came back and told him that due to the fact that he's already taking controlled substances they can't accept him as a patient. What!?! These "controlled substances" he's already taking are prescriptions from another doctor and have nothing to do with this place. He was looking for a family doctor to help him with everything else, like when he's sick, not the medicine he is already getting elsewhere for other reasons. Any medicine prescribed by a doctor is a controlled substance. That's why you have to go to a doctor to get it. So if you're seeing a separate doctor for specialized reasons but still need a family doctor for basic reasons don't bother with these money-hungry jerks. This is absolutely outrageous. None of these charlatans should be allowed to call themselves doctors. All they care about is their money, not you. If you're poor, don't have good insurance or any insurance, disabled, on Medicare, already getting medicine from another doctor, etc, don't even bother calling this place. All they care about is their money. They don't care if you die.

Instead of handling legitimate parental concerns professionally, I was treated with hostility and a complete lack of respect. Due to the seriousness of these concerns, I am currently pursuing legal action and exploring all available options regarding the handling of my child's information and treatment. Families place a tremendous amount of trust in facilities like this, and accountability, professionalism, and honesty should be the minimum standard. I sincerely hope this clinic reevaluates how it communicates with parents and handles situations involving minor children moving forward.ere being no legal documentation or court order preventing me from having access. I was also denied accurate information regarding my child's admission, which created unnecessary confusion, concern, and frustration.

It is where from the time I was born till the time I was a young adult Dr.'s Coleman and Bell were my doctor's. Let me first say Dr. Casons office has been good to my mother (their patient) for that I'm thankful. I was in an excruciating amount of pain yesterday and still am to this day and I honestly felt like the questions that I had did not all get answered. id like to make you guys aware of how you made me feel once my test results came in. I got off the phone and kinda shook my head because I felt like you guys treated me as if I was nobody. I've worked hard all my life and my life's mission is to help who I can. I'm slow to take and quick to give. My life has always been about others as I am aware it's not about what you country can do for you but the opposite. I had to ask multiple times for medication as if I'm some type of addict. You all saw my lab results so you know I'm clean. People who abuse medication make it hard for people like me who actually need it and at times are in distress to have it. I just want you all to know that I am truly thankful for your service, however I'm also a bit dissatisfied with how things were handled after the results came in. You should not make patients feel like their questions are not important and you don't have the time to answer them. In no way I'm I suggesting that was your intention. That's just how I was made to feel right now thank God I've got the over-the-counter medicine I can take because if not for that I would be messed up. I stayed up tears because I was in so much pain. Christus Coushatta is definitely a pillar in the community and again it is home to me, but I just simply. Wanted to figure out a respectful way to let you all know how I felt. Thank you. Have a blessed day.
