* Big rooms with lots of natural light. My end of the hall room even had a porthole for observing the neighborhood while I was in the shower.
* Clean room, comfortable bed that was a real US-King-size. Often times I've found beds in Brazil to be hard and not all that large (yeah, I know kids... that's what she said...)
* Carries the Brazil tradition of having a stocked mini-bar containing snacks and drinks that were priced such that you don't need a home equity loan to finance a late-nite fridge raid.
* Mostly clear pool on the roof. During a Sao Paulo summer, a pool is absolutely essential.
* Great surrounding neighborhood, safe, with lots of bars and restaurants we enjoyed. Reviews to follow.
* Friendly staff and good drinks in the lobby bar.
* I think it was only about US$110 a night.
When in Sao Paulo again, I'll stay here again. Trust me, when in Brazil -- or anywhere in the world -- you can do much, much worse.
