Breakfast- great fresh selection. Varied as well, not the same thing everyday. Clean rooms, good views and hot showers (not always available in Brasil). Little things like free bottle of water and a chocolate in room daily makes this hotel great. Wifi worked great. Wifi was the hardest thing to find in this country, and it worked great here. My end of the hall room even had a porthole for observing the neighborhood while I was in the shower. * Clean room, comfortable bed that was a real US-King-size. Often times I've found beds in Brazil to be hard and not all that large (yeah, I know kids... that's what she said...) * Carries the Brazil tradition of having a stocked mini-bar containing snacks and drinks that were priced such that you don't need a home equity loan to finance a late-nite fridge raid. * Mostly clear pool on the roof. During a Sao Paulo summer, a pool is absolutely essential. * Great surrounding neighborhood, safe, with lots of bars and restaurants we enjoyed. Reviews to follow. * Friendly staff and good drinks in the lobby bar. * I think it was only about US$110 a night. When in Sao Paulo again, I'll stay here again. Trust me, when in Brazil -- or anywhere in the world -- you can do much, much worse.

Nice area for the included breakfast as well as a beautiful hallway in lobby of local paintings for sale right before going into the other restaurant they have on the ground floor. They also have a nice section in lobby to purchase cafe, and the hotel is directly across the street from a very large mall. There is a big shopping mall next door. It can get a bit expensive if booked with short notice. Otherwise you can find around 90 dollar rates. Fridge in room was a bit noisy and would let me sleep. I had to turn it off. They didn't make my room the first night. Internet is free but works intermittently. Breakfast buffet is ok. Nothing special.

The elevator is key card protect so you can only go up if you have a room key. The roof top pool was nice and relaxing and the fitness center had enough equipment to keep my occupied. The room service was good, I especially liked the hamburger with cheese and bacon. If I ever travel back to this area I will be sure to stay at this hotel. The reason it did not receive 5 stars was because the laundry service took a long time to return my cloths.
