I always loved this metro station, it;s my second favorite (my favorite is my home-based one talleres). Ever since i can remember me and my mom always took this station whenever we wanted to get to downtown and beyond. It is still true because this is the station that connects line A with line B. Line B is in the sublevel and stratches more into the downtown area compared to line A that stretches across the city in general.
This station has several local vendors down on the street level that sells food, clothes, cellphone and cellphone accessories, notary services, travel agents, coffee shops and such. There are also a couple of atm and a kiosk where you can prepaid for your metro ticket. This station is one of the busiesst (if not the busiest) transporting between a quarter to half a million customers during rush hour. Trust me, from experience, avoid rush hour at the metro if you can or else you will be squished beyond your comfort level. The metro driver usually waits about 5-7 minutes for loading and unloading but during rush hour if the carts are full he will keep ongoing.
I always liked the view from the top of the station. There are lots of pigeons in the station and flock in and out leaving poop everywhere lol. If you play pokemon go this station has a pokestop! This station is clean for the most part and i dont think they have bathrooms here for the public so keep walking. read more
