At the south east corner of Mainway and Walkers Line, this location has 4 islands of pumps. The…read morecorner is quite busy in that there's a rest stop type structure that shares part of the driveways in and out of this large complex although the station is not part of the restaurant complex. The complex has 2 drive throughs (one for Wendy's and one for Tim Horton's but this gas station is accessible from the right lane if you're going north on Walkers. If you're going south on Walkers it's probably safest to make a left on Mainway and a right into the station and if you're going west on Mainway you can turn left well before the intersection into a long driveway that leads to both the station and the restaurant complex. The store here is much smaller than the one at Mainway at Appleby (about 2km east) and they don't have as much wiggle space around the islands either. The lot here is smaller and they don't have a car wash but they do have pay at the pump. I find the prices are always more affordable in the afternoons. Like many fuel stations in Burlington north of the QEW they have nearby competition so perhaps that's keeping each other honest? I've noticed gas prices in Burlington are recently better than my neighborhood in west Toronto so I've been filling up more regularly out this way.

In the store, the focus is on cold drinks, auto accessories and thing like hats & gloves - not much snacks or grocery items compared to bigger Shell or Esso. However they do always have Sesame Snaps in stock - sometimes this is the only place within 5 km of my building where I can find Sesame Snaps at night! They also carry cheap, effective old school auto glass products Rain Vision & NeverFog which a lot of big gas stations don't sell anymore. Washroom is very basic but never nasty and it's always open. Note that at last check, Ultramar is not listed as a Top Tier gas seller. I'm not sure if this is due to not meeting the voluntary Top Tier standard for purity & detergency - though more likely not wanting to pay the costs of participating. Either way, just to be on the safe side I wouldn't suggest using Ultramar on a frequent basis if you have BMW, Audi or VW or any recent car with Direct Inection and/or Turbo technology (( though ironically you WOULD come here to get top-off oil for those cars because they sell synthetic Total in a wide range of grades you wouldn't find at most gas stations...)) Also note this station is built on somewhat of a raised mound, the driveways have a steep angle which can make for rough entry/exit for cars with regular or lower round clearance. If you're not driving a SUV or truck, you should take the entrances slowly & diagonally.

It's a busy intersection to enter/exit the station during heavy traffic times as drivers are in a rush to get off or back on the road with Hwy 401 just a few hundred metres north of here. Touchless car wash in the heart of downtown…read more There are quite a few detailing places tucked away in parking garages, but when you just want to get a quick drive through wash to shed some of the salt that your vehicle has picked up during the winter, this is the most convenient spot. The process is a breeze because you never have to get out of your car. I'm just taking off a star because you will likely find yourself waiting in line on a nice day and it doesn't always get everything off.

I like this Petro location for a couple of reasons…read more First, it's only 1 of 2 Petro Cananda stations in the Oakville area that has the " GLIDE ' car wash system ( cloth or touch less wash ). The top end " Glidelovers ' wash is $13 and not only does a ' super ' job of cleaning - but - if it rains or snows within 48 hours, you can get a re-wash done free of charge. And, for $190, you can get a 3 month unlimited Glide wash pass ( max once a day ) as well. Having used all the car washes at the various competing gas stations, I'd have to say that the Glidelovers ' cloth wash ' is probably the best of the bunch. I have a black vehicle, and during the winter, the Glide system never fails to get all the salt off ( especially from the back ) but it also has a good under body spray to get rid off road salt and brine from underneath your care as well. And the shine on my black vehicle not only seems to look better from a Glide wash, but it seems to last longer as well. The other thing I like is the staff - I have yet to go inside to pay that the guys behind the counter haven't been super friendly and polite - not something that can be said of all Petro stations I've been to. They have a Lotto machine and a huge clean variety shop as well. The only down side is the location. Located at the southwest corner of Burloak and Wyecroft, the only ways to easily leave is eastbound on Wyecroft or Northboaund on Burloak. You can't access or leave the station westtbound on Wyecroft and to access it oe leave via southbound on Burloak isn't a safe bet either. Beyond that, it's a big, bright well staffed Petro with an amazing car wash. Better than most IMO.

I like this gas station for the following reasons:…read more A) proximity the Jameson on-ramp to the Gardiner. When Jameson ends at Queen, it bends a little east and become Lansdowne. B) You can get in and out of the fuel pumps about 8 different ways. C) Fuel prices seem to often be significantly cheaper. D) They don't make you prepay, unlike many US gas stations and their overzealous Zip Code requirement.

A few years ago, I would often visit my friend for dinner at some mutually agreed upon eatery along the Danforth. She lived at Danforth and Broadview, and worked above where she lived. I didn't mind driving over here after we were both done work. She has since moved away. I have recently been doing curbside pickup at af few businesses along this stretch. After we had meet for dinner and called it a night, I would drive along Danforth and would often fill my car's gas tank at this station. The price tends to be a bit cheaper than the GTA on the whole. I like how how bright this station is as night. You can't miss it unless you're extremely tired. I never had a problem paying for gas at the pump and filling up my car's gas tank. I don't think that I have ever been inside the convenience store. I normally had nothing to buy and wasn't in a snacky mood after seeing my friend. This afternoon, I was waiting for the light to change. I turned my head and noticed the graffiti on the side of this Petro-Canada honouring frontline workers during this pandemic. It was touching and sweet. I quickly snapped a photo before I had to move. This station is across from the Honda dealership. The entrances and exits are wide and easy to access. (66)

Another petrol station that's usually under average price per litre…read more When I came here on a Saturday evening, it was pretty much empty and it wasn't difficult to get in and out of the station onto Danforth. It's not the first time I've seen it lower than average. If you're down this way and see it a few cents lower than average, get on in there!
