They all called between 5 PM and 6 PM yesterday, very impressive. Anthony gave us a thorough explanation of the problem and even gave us his phone number. Ire called every half hour with an update. Keith listened to me and involved Anthony, and came back at 7 PM to make the fix after the part was sourced. All showed great concern about our situation, worked hard to resolve it, and were candid about the difficulties in sourcing the part and the potential delays in fixing. Thanks to all three!

New review July 11. In February Robison did a complex job at…read moremy house. They removed an old central air conditioning system and all of the ductwork. And they replaced it with a Bosch pump system and two splits. As well as brand new ductwork. They returned just recently to fix a couple small problems that popped up. These problems are not unexpected given the complexity of the job. The crew arrived on time for the repair. Both of the gentleman knew the system because they were part of the install team. They were very courteous and proficient in completing the job as always. They diagnose the problems quickly and had solutions in place quickly. A few years ago Robison installed the system 2000 heating system run by oil. Another complex system and it was installed quickly and efficiently. They found that the system did not produce enough heat for my house. So within a couple months they returned with additional equipment that got attached to the system that somehow or another increase the efficiency of the new system 2000 and that helped a lot. Just another example of the fine work and craftsmanship of the Robison team. It's always a pleasure to deal with the crew of the Robison company. I've been a customer for many years and have never been disappointed. They certainly train and select their people well and their people are a wonderful representation of the brand. It's great to work with a family owned company. Nothing like it. I wish everybody well. ------------ most recently (February 2022) Robison (Scott K, Joe Z, Matt M, Matt M) is now in the process of removing my old house A/C unit and ducts and replacing them w/a new unit, ducts and two ductless units. it's a big and complex job. Tim Fernandez in sales put the proposal together and was able to get me a substantial rebate I believe due to the two ductless units - which I appreciate. as expected, the Robison team has been extremely professional, efficient, courteous and neat. these folks know what they are doing and it a pleasure, as usual, working w them and having them in my house. they work well as a team and show a lot of respect for each other. they are excellent representatives of the Robison brand. earlier post: i have been a robison customer for about 18 years and they continue to provide outstanding service and high quality products. you get what you pay for - as they say. all of the service people i deal with - phone, on-line or in my home - are professional, knowledgeable, courteous, efficient, and when on a service callin my home very respectful of keeping things clean like floors. they explain everything in plain english so somewhat complex issues are easy to understand. initially they installed the "system 2000" oil burner. the service team was experienced (average 25 years w robison) and incredibly knowledgeable. they did a great job and, i believe as part of their QC, sent someone back to my house to make sure i was satisfied and that the install was proper. as usual, superb service and knowledgeable staff. could not be more satisfied with everything they have done for me. all of my interactions w phone staff and field staff have been excellent. they stand by their products and i very much appreciate that. on the coldest day of this past winter - 4 degrees - the thermostat shorted out at about 9:00 on a saturday night and by 11:00 it was about 50 degrees in the house. i called for service and the service rep showed up at 3:00am (i was given this time frame re his arrival) on sunday and swapped thermostats to solve the problem. a real lifesaver as the temp was dropping by the minute. thank you, robison.

I called NCHS to get my water heater replaces (extra coverage for which I had paid) and Jim informed me their technician to do this was out. This same conversation happened for several weeks. Finally, he stated I could use another company since they couldn't fulfill their obligations under the contract and they would reimburse me. I was finally able to get my water heater installed in December. I sent in the receipt and to date after many, many phone calls with the owner himself, and leaving messages, I do not have my $500 reimbursement. They deserve *0* stars.

They reported a faulty motor (among other things) back to the boss. He ultimately came up with a $7,500 solution to my problem, which could be scheduled in a few days. Outrageous! My son mentioned Ilon, at "Around the Clock" who he recently had an excellent experience with. Ilon came over to me right away, took a look, and determined that only a capacitor needed replacement. He did this on the spot, and my A/C problem was resolved. I also saved a tremendous amount of money! I was so pleased with this excellent and immediate service. Fraudulent billing…read more Watch out for these fraudsters. I had Arctic over to look at a heating issue. Their tech was in my house for no more than 20 minutes. I received a bill for 1.5 hours. When I called them, their rude representative claimed their GPS said he was at my house for one hour and 27 minutes. Then she hung up on me. I then check my Ring doorbell camera and got the video evidence. I wrote the company and then got a call from a "manager" who claimed their rep didn't argue with me and they were fixing it. Watch out for these crooks. If they're willing to scam me on my first small bill, imagine what they'd do to you if you did a big project with them. CROOKS. Update: Subsequent to the original post, Jeffrey F from Arctic Mechanical wrote a reply to my post, inaccurately characterizing the events, but more importantly, listing my name and home address in his reply. This attempt to intimidate and chill my right to post about their business practices was appropriately taken down by Yelp. But this is further evidence of Arctic Mechanical's business practices and aggressive and shady front office.
