He's so knowledgeable and attentive, and you can tell he's super passionate about what he does. The first time I came, I had been having severe pain in my knees for months and months- I got an MRI and found out I had a partial tear in my meniscus and other damaged cartilage behind my kneecap. The surgeon didn't want to touch it so I wasn't given a guidance and it just continued to get worse. When I came here, Clark finally helped me figure out that the issue wasn't even all the torn and damaged cartilage, but that my kneecap was out of place from all my years playing basketball. He helped get to the root of my issue and had my knee feeling better in a little over a month when no one else was giving me any real answers. Clark is also a former college athlete, which I am myself, and having someone who's been through similar experiences and knows how to help my injuries that have stemmed from playing sports made me even more comfortable. All of the PT's here are great- I've talked to multiple other patients and many of them have come back for different issues and gotten the help they needed. Even Alicia who works at the front is the sweetest admin and helps get all the insurance and appointments set up swiftly. AND Watson Clinic OBGYN said this all was "normal"...uummm NO, unacceptable!!! I was at my witts end, my everday 10 min task took over an hour+ to do was beyond crazy. I was living sideways like a crab. I was even contemplating suicide because no one was LISTENING to what I was saying. I kept saying to Watson Clinic "my abdominals don't work" "Nothing is moving, I don't have lower Diaphram, cannot bend over, cannot cough, cannot yell, cannot sneeze, cannot squeeze to to go to the bathroom." Uuuuggghhhh! FINALLY I found LEADING EDGE, they could see me without a referral with in the week...Yayyy. My 1st evaluation... ok-do this exercise movement, then can i do that exercise movement etc...... ok your muscles really don't work, perhaps just slightly she said. Ok here is what we are going to try and do etc.... A plan I thought to myself as I got into my car then I started crying because someone ACTUALLY acknowledged and seen what I have been talking about for months! Well... its been a month and my abdominals are actually learning to move again... I can actually sit up in my car to drive and bend to wash my hands at a sink. I'm starting to not move like a crab. Yes, the hernia is still here, but we're working around that. And surgery pain still there, but I'm thinking that's the normal for now....but I might be wrong so.. I'll keep you updated. And yes other body parts are starting to hurt because I have not used/exercised them for over a year. This place is usually quite busy with appointment times packed together. The physical therapist…read morewill usually work with several people and rotate around to make sure everyone is on task and doing alright. I do prefer a more 1:1 approach of other smaller facilities but this place seems to make this work. Front desk staff are pleasant and 1 is bilingual. There is also a bilingual PT/OT working as well. Waiting area is very small so try to come alone or with as few people as possible. Masks are optional but strongly advised and all staff are wearing them. Majority of the patients do as well. Since there are gym type equipment here I recommend closed toed shoes or sneakers, flip flops and sandals can make you unsteady while using the equipment. Parking is quirky but abundant.

When I was referred to them for physical therapy, I was hopeless and depressed because I felt that I wasn't get better. I spent months suffering with constant headaches, neck pain, and dizziness. However, I received several prescriptions from my neurologist for these symptoms, but nothing seemed to help. By the third visit with Therapeutic Rehab Specialists, I was beginning to notice a change in the symptoms from the concussion and neck sprain. For the first time I felt as though I was positively progressing. Dr. T (as I like to call him), has in-depth knowledge and expertise when it comes to dealing with Post Concussive symptoms. In fact, he has written several published articles on the subject. Additionally, he uses treatments like New Calm and therapeutic ice helmets to assist the brain in the healing process. Dr. T and his staff not only dealt with the symptoms of my injuries, but they dealt with the underlying cause of them. They listened intensely to my concerns and medical history, and then created a rehabilitative program tailored to my needs. Because of Dr. T, and his assistant Melissa, I feel as though I have a greater hope for recovery. If it were not for them, I would not have this confidence. I highly recommend them because of the excellent care and concern that they've had for me and their other patients. They treat a wide variety of medical issues from head, neck, back, and sports related injuries. Additionally, they also assist with Post Traumatic Stress syndrome, (PTSD). He listened to the issues as I described them, explained the treatment as he worked and gave me some things I could work on at home to help. He does not use the cookie-cutter approach to his treatment, but uses an evidence-based approach. He schedules future treatments only according to each person's individual response. I didn't give 5 stars for two reasons: accessibility-if you didn't plan well in advance, they were not available and you might have a week break between seeing them. (Also didn't like seeing the 2 days in a row rather than spread through the week.) Also they only work you 30 minutes, where others give you an hour for the same co-pay. (Granted, it worked, but I often felt rushed or "just beginning".)

I was put in a room with an aggravating motion sensor light that kept turning off on its own. I met with the Dr. for 15 mins and it could have EASILY been a tele-health appointment. No value added. 2-3 hours of my life wasted. 2) Before my second appointment- they canceled and called me while I was driving to inform me. I asked them to send me the updated appt info. They didn't. I called them as soon as they opened on the day of the rescheduled appt and they didn't answer for 15 minutes. When I finally got through, they told me I needed to be there at 8:15 (the time it was when they were finally gracious enough to answer their phone). I drove like a wild lady to the office and waited 2+ more hours (the Dr. wasn't even at the office yet). 2-3 hours of my life wasted. 3) New location same wild ride! Wesley chapel for an EMG. I get there and there is one extremely inexperienced receptionist and an ENTIRE office full of people watching her struggle (and doing nothing). I was in line behind two people and it took her 30 mins to help us. I finally get to the desk and she accuses me of missing my appointment (while standing in line). She offered the option to wait to see if the 1245 no showed. If not- I'd have to reschedule. They showed so now they wasted three hours of my life at one appointment (where I wasn't even seen) that I'll never get back. They've been reported to Tricare and my MTF. I'll be going elsewhere.
