This is a fairly new business, and it used to be a tex-mex restaurant. This new place is really a place to experience what French food can be. Most of the entrees are home made, and you can see it in the menu with a little logo near the name of the dish.
I had the menu, including the appetizer, the entree and dessert. My appetizer was foie gras, and I loved it. It was stuffed with "pain d'épices" and was just perfect with a little toast.
My entree was lamb shank and was delicious, though for me it was a little too salty. But it was indeed home made and the mash and veggies were delicious.
I had cheese instead of dessert, and I love the dry fruits accompanying it. My guests had great dishes as well, including a goat cheese salad, but a very elevated version of it. As entrees, they had scallops, and they didn't complain to me, but I thought that 3 scallops was a bit light. 5 would be better.
The place is big, and was sold out. For a Sunday in March, I was pretty surprised.
It looks like the outside will offer sitting in the summer and I can only recommend this place to anyone around.
The parking is accommodating, but you need to be attentive to find the restaurant as it is a little bit challenging to find, depending where you're coming from. read more
