The coffee here is quite mild (but tasty), but the place itself is wonderfully situated and has a great little minimalistic vibe to it. It's situated in the Weißgerbergasse (one of Nurembergs lovely little side alleys) and sitting outside is highly recommended - you'll never know what kind of weird stuff you'll see (The last time I was here, I watched a drunk guy vent his fury on a signpost for 30 minutes... lovely!)!

Unser Fokus liegt auf der Qualität und Transparenz der Rohkaffees und der bestmöglichen Röstung und Zubereitung. Gegründet wurde die Rösttrommel von Stefan Schwarz und Michael Heyder im Jahr 2010. Wir verwenden extrem viel Zeit und Anstrengung darauf, ständig neue Rohkaffees zu finden, Probe zu rösten und zu verkosten. Daher wechselt unser Sortiment auch ständig: Alle vier bis sechs Wochen etwa gibt es einen neuen Kaffee bei uns. I opted for a French press coffee each time. Mom went with a Cafe Au Lait (Milchkaffee) and we both had cake, which comes from local bakeries and was delicious as well. The staff is knowledgeable on coffee. I'm not a coffee snob, but I appreciate a good cup or a good cappuccino. Also the back patio was nice and sunny and relaxing :)
