This is a place for the locals , if you know what I mean. This in not the first time I am visiting this place, if you have not figured it out from my previous reviews, I occasionally visit locations in TURKEY. Very comfortable location for locals, and more so for internationals visitors. Honestly good sea food, fantastic service, and extremely friendly staff. I just have been offered a free bottle of a very good wine, when I complained about the general quality of Turkish wines. Do visit the place if you have a chance, a bit too far from Istanbul. The appetizers are always fresh. We prefer semizotu salad, shrimp salad, green salad and whatever is fresh that day. For the entrees, grilled Levrek is my favorite. We also tried grilled Sardalya as this is the season for it. Levrek is still my favorite. Raki, honeydew and feta cheese are classical Turkish seafood companions. You can finish either with a fruit platter or oven baked helva. And of course, a Turkish coffee. This place has always been a great seafood restaurant of our choice for many years. read more
