Erin Johnston is amazing! You don't have to be experienced in front of the camera to feel comfortable with her. She'll show you how to pose in ways that feel natural to you and show off your personality. She is also very flexible and easy to schedule with! Highly recommend booking with her if you're in need of someone to capture those special moments! :) read more

Erin and Jakob did such a phenomenal job for both our wedding and engagement pictures! We were so incredibly happy with how they turned out. They were both very professional and made me and my husband feel very at ease, which made our candid photos turn out great! Their prices were unbelievably reasonable for the length of time they worked with us and for them traveling to our wedding. We cannot speak highly enough of their work, and we are so thankful to have such wonderful photos of our biggest day together! They both put tons of extra effort in to make our photos phenomenal-- we are still getting compliments about our wedding photos two months later. Highly recommend!! read more

History

Established in 2017.

Hello! My name is Erin Johnston and I am so glad you're here! I am blessed to call Mena, Arkansas home. I have been a photographer and artist for years and studied these subjects in college. Just before I graduating, I married my high school sweetheart, Jakob! Together we have a precious baby girl, Rosalie, who is the light of our lives. It is my awesome privilege to photograph amazing couples, their families and their babies as an occupation! I don't even like to call it a job because it is my dream and never feels like work! Photography is more than just about the photos. I dove into this profession when I saw that there is a serious need for a photographer/client connection. I treat every client like a friend and want them to walk away feeling encouraged and at peace. I love going on adventures and being a part of my clients' moments while I capture the story for you to look back on for years to come. I am so excited to talk with you.

Beth's Fine Art and Photography is absolutely incredible! Their team photographed my wedding and I couldn't be happier with my photos and the products that I purchased from them. They are a very professional couple and very sweet people. I was impressed with the professionality of their business and have already recommended them to others in the community. read more

Erin and Jakob were so wonderfully helpful! As someone who had never had any real experience working with photographers they made it so simple. They captured every tiny detail of our wedding. From the floral arrangements on the table, to the venue spaces windows, and every bit of the ceremony. It was like they were part of the family. read more

We hired 385 Events to DJ our wedding ceremony and reception in April of this year (2016). They…read morewere nothing short of amazing! Our music was perfectly on cue as well as the announcements I requested they make. Everyone really enjoyed the songs they played. They took my list of interests and matched it perfectly throughout the entire event. It was so great not to have to worry about someone hitting the play button at the right time on a stereo. They also stayed to DJ my "after party". Which I have to say was THE BEST! The lights and music had everyone dancing and entertained the whole night! We actually only hired them for 3 hours of service, but everything was going so well that we were more than happy to tip them to hang out a little longer! Money well spent!

I immediately knew it was the right place when I saw the treehouses and cute property. I also love that it's a family-run place. We stayed in The Nest Treehouse, and we all love it. The place was so clean! I was actually surprised since it's, well, a treehouse. Such a pleasant surprise. We used the toaster oven and small stove to eat in and enjoy the place. The beds were super comfortable, and it was just enough space for the three of us. Miranda and her family were so nice and super helpful. It was just a lovely place; we definitely want to come back.

Sacred Pines has changed "in the middle of nowhere" to "that cute, quiet spot with the great coffee and biscuits." It was time for a break in our drive when the red and white striped umbrella caught our eye. Sacred Pines isn't just a stop on the road. It's a market, a restaurant, a gift shop, and a VENUE. I absolutely love this place. We stayed here for two nights…read moreover the weekend. The cabins are easy to get to write off the main highway close to Mena. There is a steep grade climb up to the cabins, no issues for a car or truck. All of the cabins have a view. We used the Jacuzzi tub in the living room for a good hour of soak time before bed. The queen bed was comfortable for two people. Cabin was clean and spacious enough for us, And had everything we needed including a small refrigerator microwave toaster oven sink. Good size shower in the bathroom. We stayed in cabin 3, Honeymooners. The interior of the cabin is all wood but in really good condition and there was no smell of smoke. Good communications by text we never have to actually see anyone. Looking forward to the next visit!
