He also chipped my tooth on the upper molar and didn't tell me. The tooth was very sensitive and it took him months to fill it. He let his EF give me a shot and my mouth was sore for a week. His EF also filled the tooth but not the chip part. Tooth still sensitive. Took him 6 months to say he would fix it and then he wanted to remove the white filling to add more. Totally unnecessary. I will go somewhere else to have tooth filled. This dentist has no integrity and he lets his inexperienced EF do more than she should.

I'd gone to two other dentists over a period of 4 months trying to get a referral to a specialist. One kept promising a referral, but never furnished it to me after weeks of waiting and calling back only to be given the same promise without fulfillment and another who insisted I allow him to do an expensive laser treatment on my gums that I could not afford, which meant I again had to put off getting a deep cleaning. Meanwhile, the condition just continued to worsen. Dr Garcia immediately recognized that I needed to be seen by an expert and I got a referral the same day I went in. He was highly respectful of the stress I've been under and extremely gentle. In fact, because I like to have my gums stimulated, I almost asked him to go at the exam a little harder! I look forward to his being my regular dentist for many years to come. I was highly satisfied with the disposition of his entire staff. My appointment was right on schedule, no long waits like other dentists I have seen in the past. His office staff are warm and friendly and extremely professional. Dr. Kattuah knows his stuff, he is very gentle and exudes a calm confidence and he is extremely personable. He was wonderful with me, I didn't get the "up sell" for procedures, just a thorough and honest evaluation of my mouth. It also didn't hurt that they have 2 adorable dogs in the office to love on while waiting. This entire chain is extremely unorganized and they don't communicate necessary information before you arrive. I drove over 3 hours to this location for a root canal, because I really like the endodontist and I felt like she did a really good job on my previous root canals. For this visit, it was supposed to be covered by medi-cal. I went to check in after driving for 3 hours, and they told me that they couldn't see me unless I made a $1300 payment on my previous balance. But when I called the office a month prior to set up a payment arrangement that worked for me (I was able to pay $200 a month, not $400 a month), the rep I spoke to was trying to pressure me to pay off the entire $5,000 balance - which I could not do. He was pressuring me so much that I felt like I was being interrogated by a detective, so I hung up on him. Before driving 3 hours for this appointment, I spoke to the staff on 3 separate occasions to confirm the appointment and not once did they say that I'd have to pay $1300 to be seen (even though Medi-cal authorized to pay for this treatment.) I won't be coming back here.

They charged her over 1k to not fix it. Spray some water in her mouth and send her in her way. The WORSE part was when she saw herself the stain she was requesting cleaned was still there. When she brought it up the nasty doctor had the audacity to tell her "if people like them aren't taking care of their teeth there's nothing we can do." My mom has been a huge advocate for being clean and hygiene is her ultimate hobby. So my mom went to a small medical clinic and they were competent enough to get the stain out and no charge.
