I have no idea why State Farm assigned Mr. McGrogan as my agent. He's anywhere from 2 to 2-1/2 hours round trip away from me. I later found out that there are agents only about 10 minutes round trip from me. I won't make that mistake again. I'll check location online first. I have a Safe Driver gadget that connects via blue tooth to an app on my phone. The gadget never has worked properly. I haven't heard from Mr. McGrogan since I first got the insurance in 2021. Each time I've contacted him about the gadget not working, his assistant is the one who emails me, promising to send me a new gadget. And I receive nothing. All I need in the way of insurance is renter's & auto. It seemed like once Mr. McGrogan realized he wasn't going to sell me any other insurance, he's only interested in selling, not customer service, so my account fell by the wayside in his mind. I have no idea how he would respond in the case of an accident or theft. In all my 70 years, I've never had any accidents, tickets, thefts, etc. But if this is his customer service with handling a small thing like a Safe Driver gadget, I'll either be looking to State Farm to give me a new agent, or I'll switch insurance companies altogether.
