I found the personnel here to be friendly and nice but in the end lacking in negotiation skills and competency. I could not recommend them.

Should be a -* (negative star) option…read more This broker, Joseph Carter, was asked to take a listing off of his website which he replied, "I dont have any control over the status!". Told him I didn't want him to "change the status" I wanted my home taken off of his agencies website. I told him I have been getting "home shoppers" (8) and getting tired of it (had also emailed 1 other site that had it listed) Carter's reply was, "Dude what don't you understand I can not change the status if I wanted to. My site pulls from the mls. Contact your agent he must have it in multiple systems. That or like put a gate up I don't know what to tell you lol". Sound like a professional? I googled my address and the other besides one other along with his had it listed "off market, sold, unavailable, etc." So, obviously the "status" could be changed, at least. Or all the other sites (realtor.com, trulio.com, zillo.com and those alike) go in and one by one change the status as thier listings MUST not be tied into the MLS. I had to let him know that calling me "dude" and suggesting that I should "put up a gate" was far from "professional" responses. His next reply which was, "I only said dude to try and get down to your level of comprehension". ALMOST got under my skin, almost. My "level of comprehension"... Very "professional". Could be considered "fighting words". Told Carter that I had contacted the Alabama Real Estate Commission to get their advise and that he no longer needed to respond (as in I am done discussing this with you), but he continued by asking that I call him. I gave a review (short 1 star just for being unprofessional) so he wanted to talk and now try to get the listing off and I could take down my review. After all that? And being called stupid (or have a "low level" comprehension ability)? Yeah, don't think so. I was contacted by the other agency that still had my home listed and started straight out explaining. They didn't say, in essence, "Not me, I can't do anything about it". They said they would look into it and contact the listing agent to get it fixed. Carter started out the wrong way on so many levels. After telling him that he didn't need to respond and that I was gonna wait to see what the commission advises he acts like he wants to be helpful. He states, "Im not real sure why your are being so hostile towards this and not listening to me but i will help you if I can". I guess not wanting to talk about it with him is being hostile. Told Carter that I had never gotten "hostile" and restated that I will wait to see what the commission advises. After that Carter added, "You are unreasonable What ever "dude" You know what I tried professionally to explain it so you can piss off!". This of this discussion was done via email
